Color in the photo is off
The material is thicker than the Outdoor Research Echo, which could be a plus but it'd hard to tell how it feels under 90F+ heat. The shirt is isn't as long as the Echo, and it's boxy. I was mostly disappointed at the color -- the website photo makes it look like it's raspberry, but it's more like REI's Sahara Shade's Mauve Shadow.
Great light weight sun hoodie!
This is a great, light weight sun hoodie! I purchased 2 for hiking to give me sun protection on my arms and neck. The design did just that. The fabric is light weight and comfortable. I purchased a size L (I am usually a 12). It was just roomy enough to be comfortable and a bit flattering.
a very casual sun shirt
Doesnt wick sweat away as nicely as more athletic sun shirts. It also shows a lot of moisutre if it gets wet. This is nice for easy hikes in the sun or a day in the park, but I don't reach for it on hard adventure days. I will say, I like the cut of this, it looks casual.
perfect weight and excellent coverage
Great sun hoodie option! nice for spring when the temps aren't quite as high, might be heavier than I want for a true scorcher but I have been very comfortable wearing it for warm spring hikes in full sun exposure
