OK, here’s my secret. (Well not so secret anymore.) I’m not a runner, but I love day hikes, and was looking for a small lightweight pack with plenty of organization and shoulder strap pockets. I was also looking for a pack in a fun color. This pack checks all of those boxes. I am able to carry snacks in the shoulder pockets and my iPhone, and there’s room for more. The pack easily fits my 1 L water bottle, small first aid kit, keys, wallet, and a light layer. I also appreciate the trekking pole attachment loops. The pack fits close to my body and feels very comfortable on a long day hike. I highly recommend checking out the Nathan Trail Mix 12.
I love this pack! Super comfortable even loaded down. Lots of compartments with easy access. I wear it hiking and clearing trail and it stays in place and out of the way. I seriously forget I have it on!
This pack is the perfect combination of functional utility and style. I love the storage options and the water bladder is awesome (once you figure out how to open it, which is admittedly a little tricky). The construction feels super solid and has plenty of options for stashing hiking necessities without any wasted material/space. I can tell I’ll get years of use out of this pack and feels way sturdier than my Salomon pack which cost way more.
I was pleased with the fit of the vest. I am not a runner but wanted something simple for short day hikes and this will work. Only problem with it is the bladder that comes with it. IT APPEARS TO BE SEALED SHUT! I cannot figure out a way to get it open to fill it. So I used another 2L bladder (Osprey) that I had.
