A bit disappointing (quality & features)

Peak Design charges high prices for their products, arguing that they offer the highest quality and well thought-out features. The overall quality impression is quite good, but the strap connections made of plastic reduce my quality impression. I would have liked to have the same material there, as in the carabiner (probably aluminum). Another point has struck me negatively. The feature is advertised that the capture clip can be attached to the bag. Unfortunately, when you do that, you prevent the zipper from running freely. This could have been better considered in the design and development. Furthermore, I noticed that the quick release does not have a blocking effect in any position. Gravity and the pull prevents slippage. Therefore, the bag must be lifted and the pull relieved to change the strap length (you can also see on the videos). In sum, it can not keep the high advertising promises for me.

Big fan of Everyday Sling series!

I already own different types of Everyday Sling series and i'm happy with it. One of my favourite is Everyday Sling 5L V1. All Slings are so adorable and convenient for everyday use. Practical and stylish.

Great Bag for Tefillin!

I started using this bag a few days ago as a tefillin bag (tefillin are Jewish Prayer boxes that we tie to our arms and heads every day for morning prayers). With the dividers you can make perfect cells to hold each of the four boxes. The bag is very firm and protective, which I like. It's also the perfect height and firmness to use as a stand for a prayer book (both to rest a book on top as well as to lean against the bag with the help of the straps as in the picture). The zippers are very durable and pleasant to use, and I love the use of magnets for the inside pocket. I'm not a huge fan of the front pocket. It is too stiff and hard to get a hand in and put things in. It would be nicer if it was softer and stretchier in order to properly use all the space in it. In the inside zipper pocket, I didn't find much use for the SD card holders being that they are very small. The biggest downside of this bag is the price, but you can't take 'peak' out of 'Peak Design'. Overall, I really love this bag and it elevates my prayer experience. If there are any Jews reading this, I hope this review was helpful. It is also a great bag for mivtzoyim!

Lovely discrete camera bag.

I love this bag, it encourages me to take my camera with me every time I go outside. Love the midnight color. The messenger bag design makes it easy to carry on your back and slide to the front to quickly extract the camera. And important its design which doesn't signal that i'm carrying a camera. Camera being a Canon R6m2 with 24-105F4. Which i store the camera lens down. With some room at either side for charger and small equipment. All in all nice compact bag for this camera&lens. Design might benefit from some changes to the dividers. Would like to to be able to set them unevenly as to support the camera body which is more bulky on the battery/grip side then the other side. Great compact camera bag at a fair price.

Great camera bag

I bought the smallest size 3 years ago. It fits my canon r with 24- 105 lens with a cap and small accessories(glasses, memory cards etc). I love this, I have it with me in all my travels and everywhere I want to take my camera. It has endured multiple hikes, bike rides, hours of walks, rain, sun etc and it's still great quality. While travelling and not taking my camera I might still use this as a day pack and take essentials on it. The only thing I would change about it is the front pocket, I wish the opening was a bit bigger its hard to sometimes put your phone in there, but aside from that really happy with this bag.

Fantastic, Appropriately sized Tote-Around-Town

I bought the Medium sized sling, and reduced the dividers to just one (one big and one small compartment) to allow me to lug my Nikon Z9 camera body with attached Voigtlander 40 mm 1.2 lens....a tad on the snugger side, but no problems easing the camera out and into the bag. I love the option to convert to a bum bag carry!

Great features and quality(6L)

I bought this one month ago and I am very happy with it. I use it for my street shots and everyday use. I usually put my full-frame mirrorless camera, one small lens and one medium-size lens in it. And it works perfectly. It is very comfortable and stylish, and very easy to adjust the strap. Love it!

Use it everyday

I bought the 6 liter one, and it is excellent for daily use, just the right size to carry all the things that are used daily. A bottle of water comes in too. And I love that special pocket to carry the tablet or a reader. I am very happy with my purchase.

Discreet, comfortable and Amazingly Spacious

I travel a fair amount and had, up until recently, used an Everyday Messenger for my Mamiya 6 and 3 lenses. I bought the medium sized sling to see if it could serve as my travel bag. I wanted to have something that marked me more a as pedestrian and not as a photographer as I walked the streets of foreign cities. I assumed I would have to remove a lens and some accessories to make it work. I did have to downsize a bit, but not much. I swapped out the strap for the cuff, but can still store the strap in the sling and I removed some CC filters which were no longer needed. I have had the sling for awhile, but due to covid, I haven't traveled which makes it difficult to comment on all aspects of the sling. I feel confident that it will be as durable as the Everyday Messenger and the quality is in line with all my other Peak Design products . What I can rate without conjecture is the utility of the sling and comfort and functionality of the strap. Really if the sling were only average the strap would be worth the purchase. No strap that I have used in 30+ years of photography compares. It is comfortable, doesn't bind or twist and it is amazingly adjustable and secure in those adjustments. The sling on the other hand is not average it is amazing how well it accommodates a medium format camera, lenses and accessories. There may be products that look similar, but I have yet to find a peer to PD's products.

Overall great, IMO can be improved.

I love the bag, it encourages me to take my cam with me every time I go outside and fit just what I need for everything. However I do run into some problem I personally found disturbing with some specific designs. 1. The bottom-narrow design kinda forces me to store my camera vertically. I carry Fujifilm X-T3 with prime and another prime using the sling. It's not a partifularly bulky setup but the body of the camera will always be at a weird angle unless I store it vertically with lens facing down. This not only rises the center of mass but also because that my camera has Capture plate on it and it will stick out, bulging the top of the body-side of the bag, making the bag not staying flat with my body slightly. 2.The Capture mounting point is too close to the zipper when mounted, the capture will get in the way of the zipper, especially on the right side as the release button sticks out to the left.(When facing the bag) I mount my capture as far away from zipper as I can and I still need to work the zipper around to pass it. 3. shoulder pad is a bit too short. When it's adjusted that it's carryed on the back perfectly, I will always run out of pad when I sling it forward. 4.Front pocket zipper is recessed and the lid is too hard, making it difficult to put things in and out without prying out the pocket. Over all great great product. It's the compact sling I've been dreaming for and the price is unbeatable!
