Very convenient!

I was finally able to give this a solid try this weekend with my camping buddy. He’s a ~60lb shepherd mix with a lot of energy in his system. This was able to give him a lot of free range around the campsite just by using two trees straight through the center. I placed the anchors around chest height so it was easy to pass under and he was able to follow around pretty easily with his leash and harness. There were a couple instances where he took off at a sprint with the zoomies and the hitching system easily held him in place and didn’t lose too much tension. This thing rocks and really saved me piece of mind while cooking and doing stuff around the campsite since I could let the pup have some more freedom without risking his safety.

Worked really well

Works great with a fair amount of adjustability. Combined this with the ruffwear roamer leash attached to the top d-ring on a harness. This setup gives a fair amount of freedom to move about with somewhat limited opportunity for entanglement. I would still never leave my guy I unattended when tied up, but I didn't have to get up much to unwind him. Some kind of limit clamp that keeps the trolley from getting too close to the ends might be a good improvement. This would keep them from wrapping the leash around a tree if that's your mount point. Not removing any stars for that though.

Worth it!

A bit pricey if you’re comfortable running your own paracord line, but for the convenience and peace of mind, I’d highly recommend.

I would buy again.

This is a great system. Easy to set up, but I did have to watch a YT video because the instructions aren't super clear. I'm a hands on learner. It's light, so perfect for tossing in our packs. The dog likes it, within reason. Huskies are runners, and our girl is no exception. This will be a valuable tool for camping and hike/packing.
