I bought these 2 days before I hiked Ben Nevis, was hoping to break them in prior but stupidly didn’t make time. Dreading blisters and soreness I still wore them on the hike but to my surprise I made it back down with NO blisters, NO soreness and a smile on my face. Comfiest hiking boots I’ve ever owned. I bought my usual size and they fit perfect.
Bought them as a present, my friend said they are the most comfortable shoes he ever worn
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfortable and ready right out of the box: Great ankle support, water proof, flexible, and they look great. Very happy worth this purchase.
These are EXTREMELY comfortable! They are SOLID! They are VERY well made! I bought these to use on the weekends whike hiking, working at my home business, and going out in the rain, BUT, I also ended uo wearing these to work. These are so comfortable! They Gore Tex is the only way to go for waterproof footwear! Adidas knocked these out of the park!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two issues. First the shoes are difficult to firmly tie around the ankle/ top of shoe. The other issue is my fault because these aree hiking shoes, not boots. I thought they would come up over my ankle a couple inches. I was confused with a hiking shoe being different from a hiking boot.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most comfortable boots I have ever worn. A lot of thought has gone into the design to make it user-friendly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TERREX Skychaser Mid GORE-TEX Hiking Shoes Super supportive and incredibly comfortable straight out of the box—no breaking-in needed. Perfect for long hikes and rough terrain, with great grip and weather protection. A solid choice if you want performance and comfort from day one.
I wore the shoe for 3 weeks until broke in. I started getting a blister on my pinky toe from a piece of material sewen in between the vortex. I have the green color & the white color & they both have the same issue. save your hard earned money & try another shoe brand.
I have the sky chaser tech goretex shoes. I used them as they were intended to be used. Summits, long backpacking and day hikes, scrambles. They fell apart before 200 miles, about 100 of which were “hard miles”. I took them up a 5.6 alpine hike/climb and switched to climbing shoes for climbing sections, used these for hiking and scrambling sections. They performed fine, but the durability is horrible. Lace loop broke on a backpacking trip when I had about 150 miles on the shoes rendering them useless. Also have holes in the shoes, and the waterproofing did not last very long. They felt comfortable and don’t look narrow, but these feel narrow and your feet get destroyed for anything over 10 miles. I found that after using these for long days, both my big toes were completely numb, and I wouldn’t gain full feeling back in them for several days. I wanted to love them, but they were mediocre. Hopefully the new ones are better, but I will not be purchasing this line of shoes again, they couldn’t hold up to the activities they were marketed for.
Decent grip, Lightstrike cushion, Goretex lining and robust outer come together to make a good looking comfortable boot. Good to wear straight from the box, definitely recommend as an option. to the more traditional boot brands.
