This is a purely subjective observation of course, and your mileage will vary, but the best fit and comfort choices I’ve experienced in a hiking shoe. Better made and with more lateral support than even high end running shoes, makes for a great city trekker! Pity it’s discontinued but I’ll watch for others by Keen
These hiking shoes are a comfortable for my husband who wears 4E width. He is a size 10.5-11 and went with 11 to allow for a hiking sock and a bit of wiggle room. Very happy with purchase.
There is a lot of volume in this shoe. No where that I could find in the description did it mention that they are for wide feet. They would save some money on returns if they mention this.
This shoe was comfortable and true to Keen traditional fit. It provided solid support, and all day walking comfort right out of the box. I walked all over Washington DC (3-5 miles a day) with one large 8 mile day. My feet and legs never felt fatigued, and they were not sore the next day. The toe box provides ample room and the snug heel cup ensures the shoe never slipped. I doubt this shoe is robust enough anything but light trail hiking, but it did a great job with the concrete of a big city. No real complaints.
I am on my third pair of these hiking shoes. I walk at least 4 miles, 5 or 6 days per week. I probably get 400 to 500 miles on a pair of shoes before the soles wear out. The arch support seems to be better than most hiking shoes that I have tried. It's a little thing, but the laces don't wear out before the soles.
More of a low cut hiking boot than an athletic shoe with a lug sole. Seem to run a bit long and wide in the forefoot. Very sturdy and comfortable for me.
Comfortable, lightweight, and definitely waterproof. They get abused at my outdoor job but have maintained their waterproofing.
Look great, feel great. Definitely waterproof. As expected with waterproof shoes, my feet get warm, so I don't wear them really unless I think I'll need them.
