[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Supernova Rise 2 after reading reviews suggesting it was a good daily trainer and good for longer runs. I initially bought the Boston 12 but it was uncomfortable on the top/middle of my foot. The Rise 2 is completely different! The shoe is comfortable and the tongue is nicely padded. After using the shoe for a couple weeks, it really checks all the boxes I had in mind. It took a couple days to break in but overall the sizing is good. Maybe not the fastest shoe but they’re what I’m looking for in terms of increasing distance and having something comfortable. Got them for a great price and I like the color.

I have to say I originally loved these shoes, I actually got them not for my running but found them very comfortable when I did run after my child. Having said that, both shoes have worn through in the same location, where the foot pivots after a mere 3 months. Shortest lived shoe I’ve ever had. It’s worn through both shoes, with one on both sides.

Naturally, I decided to give the newer model a try, and they did not disappoint. After running over 70km in these in the past week, I can confidently say they are incredibly comfortable and breathable. They provide great support and are perfect for daily road running.
