Comfortable, stylish, and of course flexible
I'm on the larger size in terms of waist, so seeing biz casual pants with built-in waistband stretch, I had to get a pair immediately. The Live Free Flex Pant is nearly perfect. I love the DU/ER fabric as always, amazing stretch and shape retainment. On this pair, it has a brushed feel finish but is still breathable. I got the charcoal and its a nice shade and has held up in the wash. The built-in gusset comes in clutch as always for comfort. The zippered back pockets and right hand media are very good, I love the subtle curve of the zipper. My only concerns are the front pockets, I wish there were a bit deeper. And of course being a "dress" pant they have the extra internal button that is further annoying due to the small front zipper.
Too baggy, and too long
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought one charcoal and one sapphire. I love my du/er live free adventure pant, but this pant SUCKS. First off it is too long, and second of all it is too baggy around my crotch. The pant is restrictive and when I walk, it feels like the pants are on backwards. AWFUL - I wish i could return it, but i already paid money to have the pants altered. DU/ER used to be my favorite brand for clothing, but.. ugh.. after this, just leaves a sour taste in my mouth.
Standard Duer quality. Don't love the zippers.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pants feel great, continuing to move even more towards the sweatpants experience than the pants previously sold in the Live Lite era. And that works well for these, which look good soft and unstructured. Waist runs a little large, which is normal and expected. I'm bugged by the zippers, though. They are unnecessary, and the little floppy pulls immediately make these pants look more casual than desirable if you want to dress them up.
Almost Great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the color, fabric, and style overall. Moves with you and the gusset is a welcomed feature. What holds me back from a 4 or 5 star review is the pants are high rise and not a more modern mid-rise. It means when I wear them how I wear nearly all my other pants they sag badly. Shortening up the rise would put these as the best pants on the market in my mind.
Way too long and other annoyances
Ordered a 31 W 30 L and the length was easily 3 inches too long. They sit a little bit above the waist and have the annoying inner side button to deal with as well (is this really necessary for a good fit)? However, the material is super comfortable and a medium weight…just good luck getting pants with the size that matches the label!
The Stretch is goooood
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the lightweight fabric of Live Free Flex, it's very breathable and stretchable. I never lost any shape after repeated wears or washes yet. The color and stitching is lasting very well. I like the front pocket size and boxy cut. One of my favorite duer pants to wear amongst many.
Extremely comfortable pants
Nice feel, comfortable yet good-looking pants. Only question is, why do they have slacks style pockets in a very casual almost rough looking trouser?
Perfect Pair of Pants
