More than a chalk bag
It’s a statement. Shows personality. Is bold. Also, it’s perfect. Easy to get into the opening and chalk up. Zippered pouch plus a small mesh pouch. Easily adjustable and comfortable. Chalk bags should be simple, and cool. This one is definitely both!!
Maybe the perfect chalk bag
I’ve been climbing 15 years give or take and I think this is the best chalk bag I’ve come across. This chalk bag is taller than it is wide. This means the pocket fits my phone, or a brush, or a bar much better than most bags I’ve used which tend to be as wide as they are tall. Love the two pocket combo of zippered and mesh. The brush loop fits any standard slim brush. And to top it off great unique styling in bright colors. Love it! PS, I had reservations as others mentioned the small opening. I’m 5’11”, 150lbs, male. I’ve had no issues at all. I could see how someone with really large hands might, but smooth chalking for me no problem.

Disappointed
I’m really disappointed in colors, especially for that price! It was purchased for my 12 year old daughter. At this age they’re particular about colors and styles. Don’t advertise cute, bright colors and then send a blah ones. And if you do, match your pricing. Very disappointed.
Bring the Snacks!
The Halcon chalk bag has a lot of features for the price. I like the cinch elastic top because it keeps chalk from spilling in my car much better than my other bag. I haven't used the brush loop yet but I use the mesh pocket and zipper pocket all the time. I don’t like to climb with my keys in my pocket at the gym and I don’t have anywhere to put them, so this little zipper pocket works pretty good. I mostly use the mesh pocket for little candies like Hi Chew or other snacks to keep my energy up. I work for Cotopaxi and will honestly endorse this is a rad little bag to anyone.

Great little bag
I love this thing. It’s really well built, I love the colors I got, the do good message on the bottom is great, and the belt is perfect. I have huge hands so I wish it was a little bigger, but it’s more than big enough for most
Great form and function
The chalk bag does what its supposed to do so functions well. Loved the colors that came with mine; I got a bright yellow/pink one. The extra pockets for a phone or keys is a nice touch.
Use it for carrying a key and cellphone on runs.
Stays in place, a good size to not get in the way, and the band stays connected and is adjustable for length. Love the colors and it's nice that it has a zippered front pocket.
Perfect Chalk Bag!
This chalk bag is perfect for climbing. It came in fun, unique colors. I love the waist strap and the small pockets. Perfect for stashing lip balm...or a snack!
Love this chalk bag!!
I really love this chalk bag! The size of the main compartment is big enough for my giant hands but not obnoxiously large. The outside mesh pocket fits my phone just right so that I can have it with me and listen to music while I climb. The best part? The main compartment actually seals all the way closed and doesn't let any chalk out! There is one downside I've found. As much as I like the waist belt, it's borderline impossible to take off without cutting it if you want to just use a carabiner to clip it to your harness. Other than that, I absolutely love this thing!
New Climber - Chalk Bag Review
I started indoor bouldering around 2-3 months ago and wanted to purchase my own gear and stop borrowing my mates! As an environmentalist and someone who enjoys quality products, this was really the best option I found. The bag is SUCH a good size for all hand sizes, and has the best clasping system that doesn’t get chalk everywhere. The zip pocket and mesh pocket on the back holds my thin wallet, keys, and anything I would realistically need. It came in fun colors, and am so satisfied with this purchase. It took 17 days to come in from Utah as well (I’m in Texas).
