Nice looking shoes. Comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised from the get go when I tried these. Toe box is wide enough for me since I have tailor bunions on both feet and the fabric is flexible and soft. Outsole looks rugged. So far I’ve used them for walking around the city not adventures, perhaps they wont be my first choice for the latter since their not waterproof. But very happy all in all.
Questionable quality
Really wanted to like these. They’re comfortable and look great, but after wearing them for a single day the sole began to delaminate at the heel. Something I could probably fix with a little shoe goo, but frustrating that a brand new shoe should require it.
Quality Control Issues?
Bought a pair of these and had them for about two weeks. The left shoe felt like the sole had been set in unleveled, making my ankle feel like it was pronating inwards which was super weird because I’d never experienced that in a shoe before, nor have I ever had any ankle problems. I returned them to the store with no problem and out of curiosity tried two different pairs - one in a different color and one of the same color I bought in a different size and both felt like they had the same issue on the left foot heel feeling not flat. Bummer because I think these shoes look cool and the right shoe was pretty comfy. This could totally be a me thing on my left foot…but I’ve also worn more than one pair of shoes in my day and have never had an issue like this. I hope they work for you!
Great shoe for work or play!!
I recently bought the Jasper Zionic Sneaker x Gramicci and couldn't be more happy with my purchase. For background, I work in a brewery up in Vermont, and am often on my feet for eight or more hours. These shoes are extremely supportive and are proving hardy enough to tackle the warehouse, plus I've been getting lots of compliments in the taproom. Out of the box comfort and very well made. Sizing is dead on and the style is worth the investment.
Great shoe but….
I would have given this show and the purchase experience five stars but the material is what held me back. The show is comfortable and light but that fuzzy material collects all kinds of dead plant material and seeds. After the hike is dang near impossible to get it all cleaned out of the fuzzies. I’m a big Keen fan and will buy this shoe again but with a different exterior material. Everything else is perfect.
Just okay
Ok, I've been wearing Keen shoes since they started making them. I've had good and bad. The good, the ones with the toe caps. The bad, all the others. I just received my Jasper Zionics. They're just OK. Not really made to hike. More a city fashion statement. The tongue is kinda stiff at the foot and you feel it. When you get a pair, replace the horrible insole they put in because they suck.
Keen sneakers
I purchased these Keen sneakers to wear around town. I bought off the REI website. I’ve been a loyal customer of Keen forever…. Having 20+ pair over the years…. From work boots, hiking shoes, casual, and close toed sandals. I love the look of these shoes, but seem to be slightly narrower than all my other Keens. I loosened the laces a bit, but will give them an honest try.
sizing
Provided information will tell you that these shoes run half a size small, they do not. These shoes are true to size. Now I lose $7 on the return and another $50 due to no online exchanges after I bought them during a sale. The shoes are nice though
Oh yeah
Great great shoe. However I was told to half size up so I did and have a bit more room than I’d like to but I’ll deal with it! The zionic is a great model for every day and outdoor use, was already on the fence about getting a pair so when I saw these release it was a no brainer. Definitely will be wearing these for years to come!
Perfect sneaker hiking shoe crossover
Super stylish, and roomy toe box (not excessively so) without looking as chunky as my Targhee IV's, which I also love. They have nice cushioning in the rubber outsole without lacking support for standing. The suede is upper is super soft, and is especially appreciated in the tongue.
