Enjoying my Mk3

Just got done using it to dive for 2 weeks in St Lucia and it performed very well. You have to pay attention to start the dive and make sure the gps is on before going in and make sure your arm is out of the water to end, that way it will record you entering and exiting points. It will record your heartbeat if it is touching your skin vs over a wetsuit. Also it’s easier to read on the inside of your wrist

Great for everyday wear also

I purchased this dive computer a few weeks ago. It has a ton of features that I have not even touched yet. It is a great size for everyday wear and offers a lot of features that a typical watch or a typical dive computer would not offer. it has a fantastic appearance, and I cannot wait to get it into the water.

Best Dive Computer Fitness Watch Ever.

I had a descent MK1 for years and have upgraded to the MK3 this month. I love that it is a powerful amazing dive computer and I wear it to the gym. As a dive master and technical diver and physical trainer...its perfect. It handles then multiple gases I dive with and provides spot on planning assistance. In addition...it wonderful in the gym.

Love the watch. Had the 43 mm but wanted larger. Gave it to wife and bought this. Great dive computer, health apps and watch face combos to fit my mood.

Great Watch and Dive Computer.

I am a scuba instructor so the biggest feature I need is obviously the dive computer. I teach diving to 330’ with rebreathers and helium. That being said I need to put my life on the line and the Garmin is my safety net. It has not do disappointed! The screen is perfect. The battery life is long so it doesn’t need constant recharging. And the apps bring it all together. I want to figure out how to keep the watch screen on all the time, maybe dimmed but visible. That’s probably me though and an instruction book. I would also like to lock the right side buttons so the watch doesn’t trip over to an app by accident. I can’t express how much I love the Descent series of watches/dive computers. I have upgraded from each one and they simply get better and better.

The battery last forever!

I ordered the galexy ultra watch when it came out and after waiting for ever for Android to make a ultra watch with a watch that was diver friendly i was super disappointed! So i gave that one to my mom and took a chance on the mk3i after watching a few reviews. There is not alot of information about this watch on features that are not dive related. But let me reassure you it does everything the other smart watches do. The notifications music controller... the only 2 things i have found that it lacks is the ability to call due to no microphone and it will not tell me my phones battery level. The other gripe i had is how hard it was to find bands for this. I wanted a nicer titanium band and only really found one..... overall inam happy with it and love being able to go well over a week on a single chage.

Best watch I ever owned

I've owned several Garmin watches, starting with the first vivoactive, then various Fenix models, the Epix gen 2 and now the MK3i. As a sports enthusiast who enjoys a wide range of activities, including scuba diving and skydiving, this watch truly has everything I need.

I bought this smartwatch a couple of weeks ago and have tried it out while golfing, scuba diving, and mountain biking. I love everything about it! The design looks great, and the screen is super bright.

Great battery life, supports a lot of activities

The watch is super comfortable, fits pretty nicely, and is easy to put on and off. It doesn’t feel too heavy for the volume. I use it to record my runs, my hikes, and got it to go scuba diving with but haven’t done that yet. The heart rate monitor is pretty good, on par with most others. I got the hrm200 from garmin and it pairs nicely with it. The battery life is phenomenal especially coming from an Apple Watch. It’s easy to forget where the charger even is. (15-20 days easily, even with daily 1h+ activity recording) I have been enjoying their concept of body battery, it has brought some awareness to the need for rest and recover properly to me!

I don't get it, and neither will you.

You must use Garmin Dive to set this up. Adding a face from IQ...not on IOS (Apple). IQ shows the device but is not connected. Garmin says to uninstall and reinstall Dive, Connect, IQ; re-pair through the phone. Nothing works. Two pieces of Garmin software can't talk to each other. Research indicates this has been a known problem for over three years. I just wanted a cool smart watch. Instead, I got a massive headache and hole in my wallet. Trust my life to "just reinstall the software"? Thinking not a good idea.
