I bought these tires after them being recommended by a friend who rides gravel and touring. I am running the 700x28. They grip multiple different surfaces well. I even put them on packed gravel. 100 miles in and I'm liking them so far.
I got the 28c. Sturdy tread and sidewalls tire that I hope will avoid having flats. Definitely not designed for speed. Max psi is only 80 with 60 recommended. So a bit on the lower side for tire pressure. Tire comes not folded and it is on the heavier side of the spectrum. They are a bit tight when mounting so they do require extra effort.
Nice tire option. Only wish REI carried the non reflective version
purchased a set of 700x32 for my touring bike.the rubber is so soft most anything will slice a hole in them straight to the tube.12 flat tires in 800 miles of highway travel.i will be throwing them in the garbage.this seems to be nature of recent rei purchases.i will be shopping elsd where when i need quality recreation equiptment.
Have only used a few times, seem to be fine.
Mounted them easily and have been riding the first pair for several months with no issues. They hold air well, don't need to pump them up as often as my old Schwalbes. I'm happy with them, ordered another set for my road bike.
A little tight getting the tire on the rim but looks good and it’s been a good choice so far.
