Awesome find
This running vest has been an awesome buy, it doesn't chafe ur arms as u run and it stays firmly in place. The only thing i would recommend is a zippered pocket on ur right side, so you can store items that need to stay dry, like car key fobs or cash.

Tore Up Skin :(
Do not recommend this product. I purchased it for trail running/half-marathon running and tried it several times, each time with the lower stitching on the back tearing up my skin. Wearing a bra and t-shirt did not change the open sores this vest created. Also, I was unable to start using this immediately after purchase due to health reasons, so when I started to use it and noticed the sores I wanted to try and return it. Unfortunately I had just barely passed the year mark on returns and REI was not willing to provide a return on the product. Disappointed in REI as a long-standing member.

Carries me on land and on water!

This has carried me through several races, on land and on the water! I also use this vest when free running, hiking, and walk my dog since it’s provides a convenient, comfortable way to carry my essentials such as phone, keys, and pepper spray. During races, it has lots of assessable front pockets to hold electrolyte and energy packets securely until I desperately reach for some carbs. During races, I don’t want to spend excess physical or mental energy to grab fuel. This vest provides open pockets that make it very easy to do just that. The biggest anterior zipper pocket (left chest) barely fits an iPhone 15 pro max. It’s a struggle to access and store away my phone during runs. It’s worth it to program your watch/headphones in order to control music or look the map rather than unzipping that pocket to get your large phone. However, I do enjoy how this brings extra security, especially when I’m paddling in the ocean. The only gripe I have is how awkward the water straw fits. I may be positioning it wrong but the nozzle is just flying in my face. But if I tuck it further away, I have to use my hands to pull the nozzle towards my mouth and then tuck it back each time. It’s inconvenient but doable when running. When I need both my hands while paddling in the ocean, I have to let go of the paddle with one hand to drink water. This compromises the speed and momentum during the water break.

Great for running, biking, you name it!

I absolutely love this vest. I've used it for a half marathon, and tons of trail runs and mountain bike rides. It is breathable, and doesn't shift around on your back; you barely notice its there! All of the pockets are incredibly helpful for holding gels/snacks/headphones/your phone/whatever. More than enough carrying space for a half marathon and beyond.

Solid hydration vest- comfortable

Felt stable and didn’t move around. Lots of great pockets. The bladder and nipple is slightly less quality than regular osprey systems. There are some loops and clips I haven’t figured out yet. I’m usually a 36B and went for a medium.

A perfect fit for women

My previous hydration vest was from another well known company, while the previous universal fit hydration vest did well, the cut of the Dyna which is specific for women fits so much better! There is less bouncing, less chafing, and the numerous easy to access pockets provide greater access without the need to alter your pace. The straps for the womens fit are appropriate as there is not additional "bulk" for a universal fit. The reflective details make this vest great for early morning/evening runs as well. So glad I made the switch.

Love

LOVE this vest. Even with a full bladder it's super light-weight. Didn't rub my skin anywhere and it stayed in place.

Reliable

Had the old version in high school and have the new version now. Best vest. I'm slightly taller and I like that it hits only barely beneath my sports bra. No chafing, light, lots of storage.

Doesn’t work for running, at least for me

This is seems like a good hydration pack but it won’t work for me. I wanted to use this for running but the front adjusted holds in the front are loose elastic and even with them securely tightened, it bounces around too much. I was replacing one fr M a different brand with clasps and it didn’t occur to me this didn’t have clasps.

Excellent running vest

This is my first running vest so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I assumed you’d be able to feel the vest while running or have it jostle some. Much to my surprise you don’t know it exists. I’m no stranger to osprey products and love the quality and how they stand behind their products. Definitely a solid purchase!
