Features

  • Delicious, smooth coffee meets portable design: Unpack, brew directly into the tumbler, and repack it all in about 2 minutes
  • Double-wall, vacuum-insulated 18/8 stainless-steel tumbler with a leak-resistant, magnetic slider lid and built-in filter holder keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold
  • Plus, the tumbler doubles as a storage container where you can pack the rest of the system
  • Crystal-clear shatterproof Tritan™ press and 18/8 stainless-steel tumbler make the AeroPress Go Plus tough enough to travel anywhere
  • BPA- and lead-free: Brew and drink with peace of mind
  • AeroPress is a patented 3-in-1 brew technology that combines the flavor benefits of espresso, pour-over and French press into one compact, portable device
  • With the AeroPress system, first, water is poured over the coffee, wetting and aerating the grinds and creating the signature AeroPress smoothness
  • Then, during the immersion process, water penetrates the ground coffee for deeper flavor notes and the full-bodied finish often found in a French press
  • Finally, the magic happens: Air pressure quickly pushes the brew through the coffee bed and filter, removing grit and bitter-tasting oils for espressolike richness

Great package for home and travel

The Go Plus has everything people love about the AreoPress encased in a convenient package. It's suitable for both travel, camping, and every day use. In case it's not clear, the mug also has a storage compartment in its base for extra filters.

The Travel Mug is the weak link in the chain.

I've been using the original Aeropress since 2014 and absolutely love it at home and when traveling for making Coffee. But I wanted something a little more compact when traveling by air esp. w/just carry-on bag. The Aeropress Go Plus is on sale for $63.95 USD. The included Aeropress Travel Coffee Tumbler goes for 39.95 so I was getting the Aeropress (a modified version of the Aeropress Clear) itself for $23.94. That's less than any Aeropress coffee maker right now, even on sale. The biggest miss for me is the included Tumbler for which Aeropress says 'Double-wall insulation keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold for hours". In practice the included Tumbler kept my coffee hot for less than 1 hr. I would say in 30 mins you can feel the temperature difference. The Tumbler also has a sliding magnetic plastic piece on the lid that allows for sipping your drink. It's a bit too big and presses against your lip when drinking. I found it a bit awkward but not too bothersome. Still I could do without it. The retail sale price of $79.95 of the Aeropress go plus I was expecting something more substantial in the Tumbler. However after searching for months I couldn't find a Travel Mug like this where I could pack my Original Aeropress into it w/the accessories. So while I'm not too thrilled about the included Travel Mug, I do like the convenience of packing the whole kit into a single unit, which is why I made the purchase, and we'll see how that goes on my upcoming holiday flight. I would not however, have paid full price for the AeroPress Go Plus Complete Travel Coffee System given how poor the mug performs. There are better ones to be had for less than $39.95.

Love the AeroPress and the coffee

It works as advertised and the coffee is delicious - like a French press. I read about the Aeropress in an article - 5 things to take when traveling. I as excited when REI had it stock since we were traveling in a couple of days. Paying extra for the insulated mug was worth it to me and it all fits in it nicely in the cup. I spent 8 nights in hotel rooms and used it every day for me and my husband, so much better than hotel coffee. I was surprised how easily it clean up too. I can't recommend it enough. The REI staff who helped me had an AeroPress (different model) as well. He was very helpful when discussing the different options and said "make it the inverted way". After I made my 1st cup, I knew what he meant.

Makes good coffee, but too small

I don’t drink the stuff, but I make it for my wife in the morning. She says the coffee is good, but it only makes 8 ounces. I wish I would’ve bought a larger version.
