Great quality, excited for trip
Got the matching Roundtrip boot bag and 192cm double ski roller in olive for a trip out west. Olive is nice and should standout from the usual black bags. I have used the boot bag locally and love it, I will see how they both work for long haul flights with connections. Family of 5 traveling with a racer so 7 ski pairs so we will have our hands full, I think the challenge will be keeping ski and boot bag combo under 50 lbs. to avoid more baggage charges. If I was traveling alone, the double ski bag with 1 pair loaded with clothes and other items and the boot bag would be great. We will also need carry ons. I did take advantage of the pro program which is open to veterans.
Sturdy, thoughtful
I bought this with the 60L round drip shoe bag. First thing I noticed was how solid and strong the material feels. The design inside the bag with the ski buckles and tip protectors is a nice touch. I love the dual zipper to access separate parts of the bag. There’s rigidity built into the bottom of the bag that provides support (prevents sag) when rolling the bag around. The shoe bag attaching to the ski bag is great. I would recommend an over the top strap in that configuration to keep the shoe bag from leaning off but overall super helpful design when flying around for ski trips. I normally stuff a lot of stuff in my other dakine ski bag but with the ski and shoe bag combo I’m able to carry a load of stuff
