Nice but flimsy
No, I do not recommend this product
This coat is warm and attractive but I don't consider the material to be suitable for an outdoor coat. My daughter has worn it maybe 5 times, 2 of which were walking on heavily wooded trails and the outer material has ripped where it has snagged on a branch (not hard enough to notice it was caught but still enough to create a 2 inch rip). Helly Hansen cancel this to be accidental damage and will not replace it fix. I wore my 10 year old Northface on the same track and it didn't leave a mark on it. I didn't think it's for for purpose, more of an outdoorsy looking coat than a practical one. Also the zip is ridiculously hard to zip.

Meant for a taller person
crazy long jacket and longer sleeves. According to the charts I should have ordered a large but I was swimming in the medium. Returned. I would need to be 5 inches taller- I'm 54 inches.

Wore it in Iceland and loved it
Yes , I recommend this product
I bought this for my trip to Iceland in October. I wanted something that was warm, comfortable, and also waterproof since I was planning on hiking to waterfalls. I've also read that the weather in Iceland in October can be very rainy. I ended up wearing this parka every day and I was very happy with it.

So greatful for length and sleeve length
HH outerwear is awesome - quality fabrics and details of zipper placement. Love that there is a brand out there that clothes a 5'8" woman, especially since post-pandemic shrinkflation onslaught of crop tops and shorter pants than ever.
