Sizing Notes

For boots: Add one half size to your street shoe size. You should be able to slip one finger behind your heel when you are standing up with the boot unlaced and your toes touching the front. If the boot is too short, your toes will get smashed walking downhill. Too long and your heel will slide up and down and give you blisters.

Great hiking shoes

These shoes are amazing. I had a pair before these in the teal color. Starting out they are a little stiff but as you wear them and break them in, they are great hiking shoes when you don’t really want to wear a boot. I love the colors and they look great. The grippy bottom keeps me from slipping when walking over rocks.

Great for basic alpine climbing

Clutch in class 5 terrain. Avoided having to break out my actual climbing shoes on both Ingalls Peak and on the South Arête of Early Winter Spire. Grippy, firm toe, comfortable, dry quickly.

Spectacular choice

The shoes are a perfect retro style and are extremely comfortable and functional. On their first approach in the El Yunque national forest, they were comfortable and reliable.
