Sizing Notes
Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements. Some women's pants are available in petite and tall sizes. Typically petite sizes fit women 4'11" to 5'3". Regular sizes fit women 5'4" to 5'8". Tall sizes fit women 5'9" to 5'11".
PETITE: Generally, as compared to regular sizes, petite sizes are 2.5 inches shorter in inseam, 1 inch shorter in body length, 1.25 inches shorter in sleeve length and Âľ inch shorter in total rise.
TALL: tall sizes are 3 inches longer in inseam, 2 inches longer in body length, 2.5 inches longer in sleeve length and 1.25 inches longer in total rise.
Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.
Inseam is measured to the floor.

Cozy and functional
This midlayer hoodie is everything it was advertised to be! It's been my go-to top for both lounging around the house and for the trail. I live in Alaska, so it's hard (and expensive) to keep the house roasty toasty - this hoodie keeps me warm while crocheting, watching TV, or making dinner. I love how big the hood is as well; I have a lot of hair and sometimes it's difficult to find a women's hoodie with a hood big enough to keep this mane contained. One slight drawback to this hoodie is the thumb holes: I love a good thumb hole, but this one is on the smaller side and pulls at my joint when my arms are bent (maybe I just have absurdly long arms?). I do like the elastic; it stays tight on my palms. Winter is in full swing up here, and all the outdoor activities that come with it! I've worn this hoodie running, walking, ice skating, hiking, and cross-country skiing already. I haven't tested it in the recent single digit temps, but it does well in the 20s! For the higher intensity activities, I don't even need an outer layer; this hoodie is all I need to keep me warm and breathable. I will add an outer layer on walks, and every feature on this hoodie keeps me comfy and warm.
A cozy mid layer
This hoodie is made from soft, stretchy grid fleece, and provides comfy insulation without feeling bulky at all. I would categorize it somewhere between lightweight and mid-weight. I appreciate that the hood fits well, the pocket is roomy enough for essentials, and I love the green heather color. It probably leans slightly more towards casual wear than technical. The fabric seems a little too delicate for regular hiking/climbing use, but would work great as an extra layer under a jacket. My only issue is that it is a little short in the torso. I’m 5’ 7” and got a medium, and I really wish it was a couple of inches longer. The arm length is right, so I don’t think sizing up would result in a good fit either. I’ll still use it as a mid layer, but I would definitely recommend trying it on first if you are tall!
Super versatile REI Trailmade Hoodie
I've been wearing this hoodie for about a month now. I like its' versatility. It's a light layer which works well on a sunny day out in the snow or a cooler day in town. The front zipper extends all the way down the the kangaroo pouch, so I found it easy to control my temperature by zipping up or down to keep comfortable. The sleeves have a nice finished elastic on the cuff, not too tight but they keep the sleeves off my hands - until I want to extend the sleeve and use the built-in thumb holes for some hand coverage. The Hoodie washes well - I don't do anything special, just wash and dry on regular cycles. The kangaroo pocket has good stitching and I don't worry about the seams coming undone when I carry my phone or keys in the pouch. Overall I really like this hoodie. It's true to size and very comfortable. No complaints! It's going to see some miles while backpacking this summer.
Almost....
Loved the color, loved the fit and the weight of this hoodie but the fabric is not durable. It developed multiple snags and pulls on the first wear.
Meets my needs
I wanted to write a review because there aren’t many reviews for this item. I like it. I got jasper green. Color is nice. Weight is nice. It’s not as warm as higher weight fleece like Patagonia R series, but it’s less technical looking (I don’t need all my gear looking super technical). It has a microgrid material on the inside and smooth material on the outside. Outside is just soft fabric that could snag — it’s not a durable material to go bushwhacking in. But slides in and out of jackets well. I was looking for a lightweight fleece with these specifications: fleece inside, smooth outside. I like it!
Lightweight, wicking overall good active layer
Really nice light but still warm quarter zip. The fabric is great wicking during cold weather but active things. Soft inside made it really comfy. Kangaroo pocket is super helpful for errands. Only downside is the finger loop, it's a very narrow elastic so feels like a hair tie if it's on your wrist and when you loop with your thumb it feels restrictive on my hand (and my hands aren't that big). Minor thing but would rather a flat no loop end.
Nice light-weight pullover
This is a light-weight layer that's easy to throw on whenever. The inside is really soft, which I like. And the 3/4 zip goes down far enough to feel like I can really open it up (I don't like tight necks or short zippers on a pull-over, so this one's nice). It has thumb holes and is long enough to pull over my hands, but also the wrists are slightly cinched so the length doesn't get in the way if I want my hands to be free. All around just a good, basic layer.
Ventilated if not elongated
This midlayer hoodie has been a pleasant addition to my rotation of layers. I tend to get warm pretty quickly, so the zipper going more than a quarter down the front was amazing. The fabric was soft and moved nicely under my outer layers so I didn't get a bunch of weird bunching. My torso is a bit on the long side and I had to wear high waisted pants to avoid a gap in my coverage, but I had a few bottoms that I was able to coordinate comfortably. My cousin's torso is a more standard length and when I asked her to try it on she said it fit her just fine.
Super comfortable alone or with layers
I love my midlayer hoodie! From the moment I received it I wore it everywhere. It is great as a standalone top or as a layer. It adds extra warmth and comfort without being too hot or itchy. It is thin and breathable. I love the long zipper for easy on and off. The pocket and hood are great additions!
Nice all around outdoor top
I like this top overall. It has a casual feel and gives warmth in a light breeze and I like that it has a hoodie. My only complaint are the cuffs. There are tight on the wrist and cheaply made. The price point is high enough on this that I expect a well designed cuff that feels good when worn.
