- This pullover can be worn next to skin, but it really shines as an adaptable mid or last layer
- Lightweight grid-back fleece is warm yet allows excess heat to dissipate, preventing moisture buildup that can quickly bring body temperature down and ruin a run
- Made with yarn that uses LanzaTech carbon-capture technology
- LanzaTech is a biochemistry company that's developed technology to capture carbon emissions from industrial sites, such as steel mills, before they enter the atmosphere
- These carbon-rich gases are then converted into ethanol, which can be used to manufacture new materials like polyester
- Ripstop nylon overlay at front and back yoke adds a layer of durability; nonfluorinated durable water repellent (DWR) on the overlay helps moisture bead up on the surface
- Half-zip design lets you dump heat for immediate ventilation
- Underarm gussets for ease of movement
- Fold-over cuff mitts and thumbholes let you adjust coverage to match conditions
- Secure zippered pocket at chest for phone, keys or card
- Reflective details
- Locker loop
- Back length: 29.25 in.; Tall sizes: 31.25 in.

Sizing Notes
Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements.
SHORT: Some pants are available in short sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 2.5 inches shorter than regular sizes.
TALL: Some pants, shirts, jackets and parkas are available in tall sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 3 inches longer and a rise that is 1 inch longer, a shirt or jacket body that is 2 inches longer, a parka body that is 2.5 inches longer and sleeves that are 2.5 inches longer than regular sizes.
Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.
Inseam is measured to the floor.

Good fit for a cool run
This pullover checks a lot of boxes for cool weather running. The material has a nice texture to it and is comfortable against the skin. The silver detailing is reflective for night running. The thumbholes in the sleeves are a welcome addition. The sleeves also fold over to completely envelope your hands for a little added protection from the elements. The sizing seems spot on for me. I'm 6'2", 185 lbs, and the large is just how'd I'd want it for running. Snug enough for athletic movement, but not too snug to be uncomfortable wearing around town or the house. Quality seems good. No snags, lose threads, or shrinkage after several wash cycles.
Reliable cold-weather layer
The REI Swiftland Thermal Half-Zip does what is supposed to do. It’s warm enough for cold starts but not so heavy that I regret it once I’m a mile in. The fabric is soft and stretchy, so it moves with you and doesn’t feel restrictive. The half-zip is clutch—great for when you heat up and need some airflow without stopping. Thumb holes and mitts? Nice to have, considering I avoid gloves until it’s absolutely freezing. The little zip pocket is fine for small stuff like a key, but I wouldn't expect it to stash much else. I like that it is simple, and does it's job; exactly what a reliable cold-weather layer is supposed to do.
Ok for runners
If not obvious, this is a technical layer for running or perhaps hiking. Not really suitable for casual wear. The good Very nice color blue and the quality and construction are excellent. I like the additional layer in chest and back to break the wind chill. Fit is good, Med , I’m 6’ 170. Slightly longer in torso than I prefer for non tuck but by just 1/2 imo. Not so good Funky cuffs. Neither look good or function well. Trying to do too much on the function. Thumb holes would have been enough. And look weird too. Lastly, a complaint I always have is the big logo in bright colors on the chest. If you must, put it on the arm or hem. The logo and the cuffs just disqualifies it from casual wear. So easy to fix. There you have it nice layering piece if all you need is for running.
Light and warm for winter months
I really enjoyed how lightweight the material was. Easy to put in my backpack and take on any trip. The convertible gloves concept was really cool and futuristic. Awesome to have my own built in mittens. Nice side front pocket for snacks. Def a win for this jacket
Solid Activewear
Received as part of a product promotion. I'm typically a hoodie or flannel guy for work and hiking/camping, but was looking for something else to wear on cool weather bike rides. So far this has served me well, particularly as an easily packable top layer that I can peel off and stash when the sun gets stronger or exertion brings my temperature up. The fuzzy cuffs at the wrists have a thumb slot, which paired with thin merino gloves liners do well to cut the cold morning air. And the reflective accents are a nice touch, as is the comfortable, cozy waffled lining. I have also worn this shirt as a base layer under a hoodie on a hike, but it's a little bit too bulky/cumbersome for my liking as a mid-layer. And while I'm not a runner, I could see this garment working best for that use. Minus one star for warmth vs. weight. While it's great as a light top layer for mild weather, it's on the heavy/bulky side to stow after removing. And it's not warm enough to wear out as a top in colder weather (it was low 40s and sunny when I put it under a hoodie on my hike). That said, the price is very reasonable compared to what I paid for my higher performing items.
Solid running long sleeve
As far as running thermals for those cooler nights, this really does check all the boxes. It's light and breathable enough where it doesn't make you feel like your over heating but can also keep you warm as your heating up. It strikes a good balance between both. The "convertible" hand covers/mits do a solid job if you have poor circulation in your fingers. I would have liked to have the option for some sort of mitten type of pass through for the fingers because it makes your hands look like nubs, but it definitely gets the job done. Would definitely purchase again.
great winter running jacket
got this for Christmas and have used it in rain, (not rain proof so did get quite wet and heavy), snow and the cold and it has been warm and comfortable. in dry cold I have just used a tank top underneath (25-35F) or a Marino wool baselayer when its been really cold (15-25F). the build in mittens work great too. only issue is it's hard to get to your running watch due to the large cuffs. extra bonus is the sustainability profile, it's cool to run in captures CO2
Great Pullover
This pull over is super warm and very high quality. Love the built in mittens. Only real downside is how tight the sleeve cuffs are. Very hard to wear running watch comfortably under the sleeve.
Just what I was looking for.
I love this pull over, and I love the hand covers. The one thing this product is missing is bright color options. Black is my favorite color but not for when I have to run on the road. Please make options of both bright and dark running clothes options. Not just this item.
fantastic travel pullover
I’ve been running around all over Japan for weeks and hitting all kinds of climates. This keeps being what I want to wear. I wish they had more colors.
