A match for rigid single track
Currently running these on my rigid Karate Monkey for around town, XC singletrack, and general buffoonery. They’re a huge improvement in wrist comfort coming from the more traditional trail-style bars the bike came with, especially when it’s chunky. Compared to the Velo Orange Crazy Bars I will occasionally run on this bike for longer tours (35° backsweep), these are more confidence inspiring for sporty downhills. I do wish they had a tad more rise, but for the price it’s hard to compare about much. Great bars!
Good quality product
I bought this Whisky Scully for my Specialized Turbo Tero MTB as a means of reducing pain I my wrist and hand. I was very happy with the quality of this handlebar however the sweep, which positioned my wrist in a more neutral position, did not alter the pain as much as I hoped it would. As a result, I ended up returning it and buying the Surly Terminal which has greater sweep and resolved my wrist and hand pain.
