These are my second pair of snowshoes. I previously had a cheaper pair and only tried going out a couple times. It was terrible. They were slippery and heavy and clunky. These are the exact opposite. They were so light, I forgot I had them on. They were best for following a snowmobile trail (slightly packed). My dog still sunk down 3-4 inches in the tracks but I comfortably walked right on top. I am 145 lbs and got the 22 inch snowshoes. I will be picking up the tails soon to have just in case there is a really powdery day. Great traction, easy to put on and off, very stable while on. I paired them with my mukluks.
Pros: -Works well for powder and groomed trails -Lightweight -Bindings are easy to adjust -Snow doesn’t accumulate on the deck Cons: -Very noisy on groomed trails/packed snow
I bought a few types of snowshoes and these are by far my favorites. It takes a minute to get used to the straps and how they work and then super easy and very floaty on a lot of snow
