I love my new travel pack!! Been a fan of Cotopaxi for many years but have not owned a pack before. This one does not disappoint! I love the little details in craftsmanship and also all the space that’s provided in a pack this size. Plus it was fun picking out my own individual color!
Passing it on
I absolutely LOVE this bag for travel. My friends and family can’t believe I only travel with one bag. Over the years I’ve tried to take less and less and I have finally found what works for me. And no, they aren’t half week trips, I have gone on a month voyage with just this backpack. Even my spouse is now following suit and got one too. My sister and daughter are on their way to do the same. I have people stop me all the time and I jump to opening up my backpack and showing them how I pack it all in. Make travel life easier with one bag, game changer!!!

I saw a review about Cotopaxi on YouTube. And it hooked me. One of my bucket list, is travel alone with just one bag, and I thought Cotopaxi is definitely fits in my dream. My bag's color is pretty well mixed. I don't like the vivid or contrasted colors so I choose the one that has same color on front and right side color. It would be perfect if I can buy my Cotopaxi in my country.
World, here I come!
My husband and I put travel on hold while we started our family. 2 kids later, I'm ready to get back into it! I've never checked a bag and I don't plan on starting! I needed something with plenty of space that can also be considered a carry-on. This bag has exceeded my expectations and I love that every bag is unique and sustainable. The laptop pocket is bigger than I would ever need and the inside pockets are packing-cube-style which makes planning sooo much easier. Plenty of older reviews complain about not having a water bottle pocket but it seems that the company has listened because my 32oz bottle will fit perfectly! My 3L Kaipai Hip Bag fits inside the front pocket just incase I need to stow it away. Speaking of stow, the straps stow away in the bag so if you need to check it or throw it under a bus, it'll be safe and strap-free. I was worried that the 35L would be too big on my short frame (5'0") but it's not too bulky and the hip-belt hits right where I need it. It feels durable and the zippers are well-built. Beautiful bag. Can't wait to take it around the world.
Allpa 35 Del Dia
I love it!! I have many Cotopaxi packs but this is my favorite by far. I had trouble deciding between the 28 and 35 and I'm glad I went with the 35. I loaded it up and it's comfortable to carry, the straps are cushy, the weight feels appropriately distributed. The ability to pack it like a suitcase is the selling point. I love the section for the laptop/tablet. This pack is going to New Zealand for 3 months. It will double as luggage and an actual pack for backpacking shorter hiking trips, 3-5 days.
The only carry on you'll ever need!
I recently purchased this backpack for my upcoming 2 week Europe trip and I could not be happier with it. The colors are so cute and fun and the backpack itself holds so much! I love how it unzips like a suitcase and has different compartments set up for organization. The bag itself is also super comfortable to wear and looks way more stylish than any other travel backpack you'll find.
Great Carry On travel bag!
I used my 35L for a 3 day beach trip. I packed everything I needed and still had plenty of room. The straps are durable and adjustable. I recommend this bag for a week long trip. The bag was considered a carry on bag at the airport which made it even better
Compartiments and size are great. Missing the zipper to access main compartment.
I like the size of the New Allpa 35L Travel pack to use either on a weekend trip (road trip) or an airplane trip (as a carry-on bag). The size and the way the pockets are distributed keeps my trip more organized. I have space for my toiletries and easy access to the front pocket for small items such as sunglasses or AirPods. The bottle pocket is also excellent. This is something there I needed to include in the previous version. But I also wanted the zipper that got access to the main compartment and the anti-theft zipper opening in the prior version.
Not what I expected
I love the functionally of this bag and was so excited to get it in the mail. It’s not available in Australia so I paid quite a lot of money to have it shipped to me. When it arrived it is a TOTALLY different colour than the image on the website. So so disappointed. Ordered a light pink colour but once it arrived it’s more of a dark dirty purple colour. Other than that the bag would be great but when you can pick the colour, be cautious that what you see is not exactly what you get :(
Replacing Good Gear
When travelling, our car was broken into and someone took my travel bag. I knew I wanted to replace my Cotopaxi Allpa 35L travel bag with the same model, since it has several neat compartments with which to store my belongings, has a hardy exterior, is a perfect carry-on size, and has really cool, identifiable colors. I was able to get to a Cotopaxi store and find a similar bag, and with my luck, found a bag with even prettier colors than the last. I also seemed to have gotten an updated model with a few extra compartments, which really made my day. It’s worth it to travel with Cotopaxi gear.
