Loving it!
I originally ordered the older version allpa 35L Del dia then saw this new version was released in the beginning of August 2024, I instantly decided to return the old version and get the new one. I love the improvements including water bottle holders and strap for roller suitcase. The water bottle holder fits my Owala freesip 32oz perfectly. The dark version del dia has all the fabric in black but zipper and straps are in different bright colors. I wish they have black fabric with 1 set colors for zippers and straps, but that does lost the unique and purpose of del dia using leftover material. All the details are on point and look like the backpack can handle some tough times. I’m 5’7(170cm) 145lb(65kg) and the backpack looks quite big on my back but not overly big like a turtle shell. In summary, I love it, can’t wait to use it for my upcoming one week trip.
Love this backpack!
Just got back from a 4 day/3 night trip where I was the only one with a backpack while everyone else brought roller carry-ons and separate smaller backpack personal items. I loved having the 35L backpack and I also really liked using the pack cubes with it. I felt so organized and felt like the bag had PLENTY of room and doubled as both my carry on but also the front pocket had lots of room for snacks, etc that I would normally put in my personal item. So I only had this one bag which was so nice. I felt the belt did a great job of taking the weight off my shoulders and putting it on my hips. Really happy with the bag and I love the dark color.
Jackpot!
Been buying different backpacks through out many years but never felt satisfied. But this one, jackpot! It gives great organization, plenty of room and of course the colors that pops!
best bag ever
It was almost my turn to check-in for my trans-continental flight. I had watched as each passenger placed their carry-on luggage in the metal sizing bin, showing (and sometimes failing to show) that their bag met the airline's requirements. As I stepped up to the desk, my palms began to sweat. I had stuffed so much into my new Allpa 35, I was almost certain that it wouldn't fit. Now that I saw the bin up close, it looked even smaller. I hefted my bag above, and lowered it. Through the miracle that is the Cotopaxi Allpa 35, my 10 days worth of clothes (and such) slid smoothly in. Turns out, there's no need to worry while traveling with the Allpa 35.
Allpa 35L is a Delight
I had been searching for a backpack that could hold some tech like both a laptop, and a tablet, and other things like cords and power adapters. Not only did it fit those items securely but I have plenty of room to put clothes, shoes, a bottle and everything I could need for a few days. I have not pushed this pack to full and I’m so excited to! Also the color of these fabrics is 100%! I love the Del Dia Dark colors and how they accent areas of the backpack. The quality of the material feels really good, and comfort of wearing the backpack is something I feel really positive about after a few days of carrying it around. I would recommend this backpack to others absolutely!
Not a fan of the changes
So I purchased this bag (my third Allpa 35L) because I wanted another one for our large family and a I love our first two and these dark colors just really caught my attention. However, when it arrived I was pretty disappointed with the changes they have made. The material feels like a lower quality. The lower band is not removable and they took away the zipper that allowed you to have access to the main compartment without opening the entire bag. You also lost a handle on one side that made for easy grabbing when traveling on a plane. I haven’t taken the tags off yet and may not even keep the bag because so many of the features I appreciated about these bags was taken away.
beautiful and functional carry-on
My Allpa Travel Pack had its first adventure yesterday, when I flew to NC. It's comfortable to wear and has ample room for my clothes, toiletries, books, and snacks. I love the Del Dia Dark, which makes the gorgeous colors pop all the more. The internal layout of this pack makes it easy to pack lots of items neatly and to spot them easily when you're searching for them. I have been looking at the Del Dia for about a year, and I'm glad I finally purchased it. I'm also happy that I gave my money to a company that is sustainability-minded, which is becoming more and more important to me. My one tiny con is that pink would have been the last color option I chose, and that's what I received. I was hoping for blue. I would recommend this travel pack to my friends, for sure. I'll take it to college with me next weekend, when I visit my daughter. What a beautiful piece of luggage!
Color scheme and storage capacity!
This product concept is unique in that you don't know what the color scheme will look like until you receive it, but when I opened the package, I was very pleased with the color scheme. For me, it is very important to have a color that is soothing on the outside and easy to see what you put inside. This backpack is a product that does just that. I would love to travel the world with this backpack!
Great pack, but my gamble didn’t work out
The pack is great and should be perfect for all the trips I need it for. I love the compartments and appreciate how much easier they make it to use. The only downside is I have an extreme aversion to pastel pink. I figured the emblem comes in so many other colors, I won’t end up with the light pink one, but I did. Now I have to decide if I can rectify it with a patch or if I will have to return it.
