Narrow Hips For Pear Shaped Bodies.
I’m not a snowboarder but this jacket seems awesome! I thought that it would make a great jacket for an Icelandic visit but after trying it on I realized that for the price point and design it was overkill for what I was looking for. Also, I am pear shaped and this jacket was a bit narrow in the hips. There was plenty of room in the shoulders and chest area so when all zipped up it ballooned out a little above and I didn’t like that look. I sized up to a large but then it was too big overall in the chest and the sleeves were generally long and that is with both sizes. Otherwise it’s awesome if it fits your body. I ordered a medium and my measurements are 36”, 32”,40.5.
Durable and warm
I'm a dog walker, this jacket has been phenomenal. We had our first whole week of below 32F and I felt fantastic. It's also been good in the rain and wind as well. It's with stood large dogs (and their large nails) jumping on me with out tearing. It's been super easy to spot clean as well.
not the right coat for snowboarding
Bought at full price $330 right after Christmas and when I went up snowboarding with it, I was drenched and cold. By the end of my day on the mountain I was carrying around what felt like a big soggy sock. :,( I wanted to love this coat for snowboarding but this just wasn’t it. Going for gortex next time and hopefully I can find a similar fit. It’s warm and breathable when you’re not soaked. I think for the price, I would expect more.
