For boots: Add one half size to your street shoe size. You should be able to slip one finger behind your heel when you are standing up with the boot unlaced and your toes touching the front. If the boot is too short, your toes will get smashed walking downhill. Too long and your heel will slide up and down and give you blisters.

I absolutely adore these shoes! The break in time for me personally was about 1-2 gym sessions. They are so comfortable, pretty sensitive and will edge like a MF. I use them for gym sport climbing and they are superb. I tried crack climbing with them but it was very painful for my toes, so back to my TC’s for cracks but otherwise these rock. I haven’t used my muiras for bouldering since I use my katanas but I imagine they would excel there too. :) well worth the price if you sport climb. Lastly, I have been using them consistently over the last 6 months and the wear truly looks minimal. And by consistently I mean several times a week every week. Hope this helps!
Note- I am a 165 lb male. I originally purchased the men’s size 40. My normal shoe size is 42. One shoe was markedly bigger than the other so I got the same size of Muiras in the women’s version. Besides the fit being correct the women’s version was very similar except got the Edge2 rubber has a little bit more sensitivity. At first glance the ankle was a little wide due to the padded heel collar although that disappeared after the first climb and wasn’t an issue. The women’s version felt like it was quicker to break in. It seems there is no difference in the width or volume of the shoe; both pairs are for narrow feet. Overall it’s a great shoe on par with the original Miura but with a little more sensitivity in the sole despite both edging well.
I absolutely love these climbing shoes. I wish that they carried them in store so I could have fallen in love with them sooner when I was looking for a shoe a while back. I like laces so that they can be pulled snug for a narrow foot. They fit my foot shape perfectly and it feels very natural to climb in them, especially on tiny foot holds. I might only get these forever now.
These climbing shoes are my go to for sport climbing. They provide a solid toe hold and grippy rubber, which helps me feel secure on difficult routes. The lace-ups fit my feet better than the velcro style. I’ve tried a few other shoes, but keep coming back to these!
I bought these online after hearing rave reviews. I've been climbing on and off for 7 years and looking to up my game in edging. The top of the heelcup on these dug into my achilles so badly I was unable to flex my foot properly, while at the same time the material around my ankle sagged out so much I could fit three fingers down into the shoe. They looked ridiculous on me, the lacing system left extra material all over the top of the shoe in a hilarious way. They were not oversized. The structure of the rubber on the bottom of the shoe and toe box fit perfectly. I would not be able to climb outside in these, sand and dirt easily would slip into the gaping sides and down into the shoe. Somehow the fit was simultaneously way too big and way too small. I don't have narrow feet, and I think if I did these would sag even more ridiculously around the ankles. I typically love La Sportiva shoes, but these were a miss for me.
