Amazing winter trousers

These trousers are amazing. When the weather gets colder, the extra warmth these provide over the regular Keb trousers don’t go unnoticed! I also think the fit is greatly improved over the older Keb trousers but can’t speak to the new ‘improved fit’ ones. As for the higher waist, unlike the other review, I love this. It complements my figure better than the lower waist and it provides extra protection and warmth, as well as making tucking a base layer or t-shirt in easier and more comfortable. The cost is high but 100% worth it for trousers that will last years. I definitely plan on buying more.

At the time of purchase, there were no reviews for the Keb Agile Winter pants, so I decided to brave it and order my first pair of Kebs wearing somewhat of a blindfold. I haven’t purchased any clothing for some time and my size has changed, so it took me 3 tries to get it right- yes, even with measuring. 122lbs, 5’4, the EU40/US 8 is a perfect fit. The 10 that I tried had a nice loose waist but the seat and thighs were a no go. Heads up to all my brethren that have snubbed your noses at a high waist- these pants ride high, and I believe this is why I struggled with sizing these. REI site states mid and I assure you this is not the case. But being winter pants it was suggested to me this would be functional and I’m grateful I listened. These are comfortable but please note the waistband is not stretchy. I will likely follow up my review after a few weeks/months with them but wow, just lovely. Special thanks to the REI staff that were patient, informative, and understanding.

I just received these pants…they are amazing!! I own a previous edition of these and they only came in regular length. I’m so happy they’re now available in a 34” inseam and the higher waist is sublime!! They work like a charm for my body shape. I think I’m going to have to get these updated ones in black too. Steep price, but I have worn my last pair for 4 winters now and they are holding up strong! I am out daily, trekking a couple of hours no matter the weather. This plant is perfect in cold winter months

What really surprised me was the temperature regulation - despite pushing through 14 challenging miles, these pants kept me perfectly warm without overheating. The ventilation zips were a lifesaver when the afternoon sun hit!

Everything is great about these pants except for the high waist - it does not work for me, I unfortunately had to send this one back - why can't this be available in a regular mid waist ???
