Does not keep water out
Comfy and warm. Was very disappointed with he first day I put them on and stepped into a big puddle to realize they are not waterproof. Both booths leaked at the heal where the seems connect. So bummed!
Great Boots! So Happy I got them!
I bought these to replace a similar style Bog boot that I adored and had purchased about 5 years ago These are a bit more substantial than the previous style in that the bottom of the boot is all rubber on the bottom and the vibram sole makes it more sturdy. What I love is that they are lightweight - easy to slip on, and they are incredibly warm, waterproof and cozy with the fleece lining. I wear these in all types of weather and for all purposes- to walk my dog - to run an errand - shovel snow or to slosh through rain - Yet they are stylish enough to make any outfit look great. I am a 37.5 to 38 and I sized down to a 37 (as recommended) and they fit perfectly!
In love with these....
These are my go-to boots for running errands, working around the house/yard. They are amazingly comfortable and warm. The "handles" make them easy to slip on; they are extremely well made; I have had zero issues with wear/tear. I have had them for one year and really do wear them almost daily (unless I need to be in dress shoes). The reason I am on the Bogs site is to hunt down a summer version of comfy go-to shoes. And, I may buy a back up pair of these. I highly recommend these boots! I am normally a 7 1/2 in dress shoes (heels and other boots) but purchased an 8 and they are perfect. I do wear socks with mine but you wouldn't have to with the fuzzy/comfy lining.
Very nice tall winter boot!
Bought these for my wife. She needed a tall winter/rain boot that for easy on/off. These fit everything she wanted: - tall - easy on/off - waterproof - warm - stylish - hopefully very durable. actual results are TBD since these are new but our previous experience with Bogs have proven them to last years and years. Only con: - they're not the grippiest on smooth wet surfaces like very smooth concrete (think inside the garage). Overall, very nice tall boot that should serve her many years.
These boots Kicked off my love AffaIr with bogs
I purchased these boots ~3 years ago at TOPS in Asheville. They are warm, comfortable, well-designed, and durable. Mine are still in great condition! This pair did kick off a love affair with Bogs. I have since purchased rain boots and clogs for myself. I have dogs so bogs make it easy for me to slip on and take off. If I happen to step in dog mess, I can hose them off. Win! This Christmas I purchased a fun pair of bog rain boots for my 69yr old mom who lives in Florida, and a cute, fuzzy pair of bogs winter boots for 19 yr old niece to trudge around her college campus this winter. Everyone loves them!
Lack of warmth and durability
I had a pair of Bogs before that were amazing so I bought another pair. These were great in the beginning but now they do not even keep my feet warm in 0 degree weather. I have tried thicker socks, two pair of socks and still not warm enough. Also it feels as though the boot is no longer waterproof, when I take my boots off the same part on either foot is wet. I felt inside the boot and it feels wet too. Since I bought them at the end of last season i cannot return them anymore. Very disappointed that they cannot last for the price, definitely not buying Bogs again.

Warm! But strange to walk around in.
I wanted to love these, unfortunately I don't. The toe comfort and warmth is great, as is the grippy tread. The issue is that the hard rubber ends right at the top of the heel, unlike older style bogs where it goes up a little higher. It creates a "rubbing" on the back of your heel and makes the fabric upper bend strangely at the heel. When you walk around it's weird and clown-like with the fabric bending back and forth. I love the older Bogs styles but wanted this new style specifically for the extra tread. Wish I had stuck to the classic.
Warm & Waterproof!
I spent a couple of weeks deciding to buy or not to buy! But the Crandall II Tall boots just kept calling to me ... So I ordered a pair and I like them!! In all honesty, I have only worn them 4 times so far, but for long periods of times outdoors & they're great. I would not want to test the "good to -40 " they promise. I did put a double thick Dr Scholl type pad in them, but I have 70 year old feet & a bit of extra cushioning is never wrong. So , yes these are good boots for me!
Keeps hay, straw and other intruders out of my socks!
I have goats, pigs and horses so i am around hay, shavings and straw all the time. Have you ever gotten a piece of hay down your socks where it somehow ends up in between your toes and it's freezing out but you have to take off your boots and sock to find the intruder??? Well these boots are the best Boggs I've had yet ( I've been buying them for a long time) the boot fits snug ( I'm 5"2 and 135 lbs with normal calves) and they are great for our Western NC weather!
Love these!
Love these! Super comfortable and hold up in snow and rain. Warm and cozy.
