KUHL  Sofie Sweater - Women's

I already owned the Dove color from last year and when I saw the new colors I decided on the blue to balance my collection of tops. Kuhl products are beautifully made and designed well. I buy them both from Kuhl dactyl but love when I can get some from REI where I first tried the brand years ago. with REI I can often use sale coupon or rewards so it helps enhance the wardrobe .hey wash beautiful though I only put through the dryer on short easy cycle and smooth out on a drying rack to finish. Keeps all my products, smooth, pill free and no wrinkles so never an iron and no shrinkage in a dryer. I wear them for years and they still look good.

I saw this sweater online and was surprising it was from Kuhl because it's not usually a brand I find things I like from. The sweater feels a lot more on trend than usual! The material is weighty in a nice way but cotton, which I appreciate because it's nice to not just have super warm winter sweaters! I did find I needed to go to an XS to get it to fit how it does on the model - my usual small looked a little frumpy. I haven't washed it or worn it a lot yet but it feels really high quality. The brown is really more purple in person!

I purchased the green sweater to coordinate in our family photos and ended up liking this much more than expected. It’s got a slightly boxy feel without being overly so, and is still long enough for us tall people who can’t wear the popular cropped sweaters. It’s very soft after being washed, and has a substantial weave that feels worth the money. The best thing though is the regular shoulder seams - every other sweater seems to have the dropped seam that falls halfway down the arm and is so unflattering and uncomfortable to me.

I found this sweater small and short. If you're tall, this probably isn't the item for you. And I would size up. I also wasn't crazy about the material. Very rough feeling. Will be returning.

Runs Small. I am normally a small or xs and I bought a large. Ganache is more of a purple mauve in person and it’s really pretty. If i hadn’t seen this sweater in the store and had the chance to feel the quality cotton knit, i would have passed. This sweater is great and can be dressed up or down.

Nicely woven sweater. Thick weave. Keeps you nice and warm. I like that is high quality. Got the ganache color and it has the smaller knit which looks weathered against the background knit. Kind of a washed look. Very nice style and fit. Washes well.

I loved the fit and style of this sweater that I purchased it in 2 colors. This isn't a "fluffy" sweater, but like the name indicates, is very soft and cozy. I'd say it's mid-warmth and ideal for late fall and early winter days. The colors are a bit muted and the faded look of the dye in the green is really unique. It's not bulky, making it perfect for pairing with jeans or a skirt, or under a coat. I am usually between a S/M in tops and the S was perfect.

This sweater is a great wardrobe staple to have. It feels thick and weighty and warm, but it's breathable enough to wear on a warmer fall day. The fit is somewhat slouchy, but in my size it's still a loose but flattering fit, like something that's buttoned up enough to wear to the office. If you want a looser oversized look, I would size up by one size. I love the color choices, they're flattering to my more autumnal coloring.

Pros: feels great on my eczema prone skin. It’s not soft to the touch but very comfortable when worn, and I love the texture. Cons: snags very easily. I wore it for a week and it’s got several snags on it just from putting my backpack on and taking it off. I also wish the sleeves were longer, I’m 5’9” and thin, size S is not quite long enough for me in the torso and sleeves.
