Top strap ripped after 1 month of road-cycling
I was gifted this bag for Christmas this past year. It last exactly one month before one of the top straps ripped. It was used on my road bike and maybe some bad bumps wore down the material, not sure. Bummer because I really liked it while it lasted. Spacious, robust zippers, water resistant. It seems like everything is well built EXCEPT for the most crucial structural part---where it attaches to your bike and holds all the weight...
Straps broke on 2nd ride
Purchased this handebar bag for my gravel bike, which I was excited about because it was simple yet spacious. During only my 2nd ride with it (a race, in fact), the straps that attached it to the handlebar broke one by one. Thankfully, the cross body strap was there so I didn't have to literally hold it the last 10 miles, but it was still quite a bummer. Don't recommend unless you're doing flat/smooth recreational riding.
Two bags with straps that broke during ride
It was a great sized bag but my partner’s bag broke within a couple months of purchasing it. It was during a ride, about 20 miles from home so had to use the strap to wear it as a body bag (which was constantly moving for the remainder of the ride). I should have returned mine then but hoped it was a fluke. Mine lasted almost a year before it broke on a bump. I recommend finding a different brand of handlebar bags.
I 2nd what others have said
I took this out on a ride today. I can see that the straps will not last long. It’s a shame because the bag itself is nice, it’s just the straps. I could return it, but I know how to sew so I’m going to attempt to replace the straps and make them stronger, because if the straps weren’t an issue I’d rate this bag a 5.
