My favorite running top!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Brooks Sprint Free Short Sleeve 2.0 is an outstanding running top. Not only does this shirt made out of water bottles have built-in mesh vents allowing it to breathe, but its fit is impeccable. I usually wear a 6 or 8 and am a 34DD. I got a size medium in this Sprint Free shirt; it is neither too small nor too big. It lays perfectly on the body due to the flowy fabric, but it feels loose at the same time. I find myself reaching for this top for my workouts more often than any other workout top I own. I highly recommend this Sprint Free Short Sleeve 2.0 running shirt by Brooks. You won’t be disappointed if you add it to your running clothes collection.

Very comfortable, colors could mesh better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sprint Free Short Sleeve 2.0 is a very well designed shirt. It moved with me as I ran and did not rub uncomfortably. The fabric was breathable and I didn’t have to worry about overheating as I ran, the fit was great, I normally wear a medium and a medium fit well. There was a little bit of room to spare but when running I want to be able to move so I was very happy with this. The only thing that detracted from this shirt was the odd color combination but that didn’t effect use at all and it was a very nice shirt to use. I even used it on the weekend as a comfortable cool shirt around the house. No complaints!

Not odor resistant :(

I love *almost* everything about this shirt. It's the perfect weight, size, and breathability for hot humid runs but it is NOT odor resistant. I haven't had an issue with the armpit smell sticking to any of my other workout clothing, but these shirts hold onto the smell like no other. I wore the shirt once and washed it three times! Once I even put a mixture of baking soda directly on the armpit to try and get the stench out. Nothing works. I truly don't understand why these in particular hold onto the smell for so long. I love the shirt so much I'm trying to find solutions to the stench problem, but my 90 days will be up soon and I may have to return them.

Comfortable and Light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sprint Free Short Sleeve 2.0 is a great choice. It is light and didn't get in my way while jogging or cross-training. I love that it's made from recycled fabric. After several washes, there hasn't been any change in quality or lingering odor from previous wears. I have a long torso and would have loved the shirt to be about half an inch longer, but it shouldn'tbe a problem for most. The white fabric wasn't see-through and I was able to wear a dark colored bra underneath it. I'll be wearing this shirt often!

Buttery Smooth Fabric

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I find that most athletic shirts have the same type of “cheap” feel where I know the fabric will stick to my body and won’t let me breathe. I was pleasantly surprised when I first felt this shirt because it was nothing like any of my other athletic shirts. The fabric feels like butter and it’s so incredibly soft. It doesn’t stick to my skin and I definitely don’t get hot in it. I am tall (5’10”) so I wish the length of the shirt was just a little bit longer. This shirt did great while taking a jog in windy and cool conditions. I didn’t have a light jacket on over the shirt, but it was a great base layer. I was a big fan of the color scheme as well. It was subtle but cute and you can really wear any bottoms with it. I’m looking forward to wearing this on its own once the weather warms up!

New running shirt- Sprint Free Short Sleeve 2.0

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of my new go-to running or lounging around the house shirts. It is light weight, soft, and holds up well when I am moving. I am a big fan of the color blocking and really love how it fits me. It runs true to size, so I would recommend sizing up if you want a looser fit. The only thing I would change is to have a darker central color so that it is less see-through. I will definitely be wearing this more and more with spring and summer approaching!

Excellent, breezy shirt, great material

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this shirt for casual wear or training. I’ve worn it casually at the park with my toddler, for a run, and while wearing my toddler at a marathon doing lots of walking to support runners along their route. The shirt fits true to size, is incredibly breezy, and dries quickly when wet. It is slightly see through, but not uncomfortably so. It washes and dries well. Overall I highly recommend the shirt for any level of training

Definitely "ultra breathable". Perfect for hot + humid climates.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thing’s first: I like the material. It’s definitely “ultra breathable” like it claims, and seems like it will be very effective at moisture-wicking, and will dry quickly as well. Especially living in Florida, I can see this being a favorite both for the gym AND for the hot summer months. My only issue is the off-white color of the main torso area. It kind of reads like a shirt that “used to be white” if you know what I mean. It’s also a bit see-through, but it is accurately shown that way in the product images so I didn’t expect otherwise—just pointing that out for anyone who might be bothered by that. I find the relaxed fit to be very comfortable but not super flattering on my plus-size body. I am 5’5” and 200lbs and am wearing an XL. I think someone that wears a size S or M might find a more flattering fit. Overall, I think this is a solid option for an athletic top where performance is the primary goal.

Lightweight and Flattering

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this top! It's very lightweight and the fit is just right -- not tight, not baggy, and unlike a lot of running shirts, it doesn't hug in awkward places which is all the more important to me after having a child recently. Where we live in the northeast, there's a lot of snow on the ground, so I've primarily worn this top as a base layer under my normal winter running jacket, and it stays put well without riding up. My only critique is that in white, it's very, very sheer -- you can definitely read the tag through it, you can see my sports bra through it, etc. This isn't really an issue if you're wearing it as a base layer, or if you're used to running in just a sports bra, but if you're looking for something opaque you'd probably be better off choosing a darker color. All in all, it's a great top, and I'm looking forward to road testing this top on its own in the spring when it gets warmer. After running in this shirt, I'd also consider buying other Brooks tops.

Super stretchy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product to try for free but my thoughts and opinions are my own. I was excited to try this shirt and it didn’t disappoint. The shirt is super stretchy and flexible. I’m a bigger girl (size xl) just starting to cross train and it moved with me and never rode up or felt restricting. It’s soft and smooth. The fabric was breathable which is great because I sweat a lot. I like the pink and brown details that jazz it up but keep the classic sleek look. I washed this per directions and it came into looking exactly like it went in, no pilling. The downside and why it only got 4 stars was for two reasons. #1 I’d prefer the top had been cut a little longer. I have a long torso and tops are the most comfortable for me when they hit mid backside. When I’m doing lifts my stomach is always my worry. I never had to pull the top down but just felt worried about it. #2 the top is slightly see through and when you are sweating it becomes more so. This is easily fixed with a solid tank but it’s just a note.
