My first order and selection was cancelled on me. This was the second selection. I received the shoes today and they are used. Dirt on toe, soles, in shoe, shoe laces, etc. How could this even be shipped knowing they were used and visibly dirty? Very disappointed and will avoid buying from REI in the future. Not as dependable as they once were.
Disappointed- on maiden walk/jog already falling apart. For decades I’ve worn ASICS or Saucony for running but all my fit friends, walkers and runners have converted to HOKA and I wanted to give them a try. I took a tumble while jogging (stumbled over a rock, not shoes fault) and when I got up I saw the toe of my left shoe was already coming apart. These are ok comfort wise, though I was expecting a pillow for my heel based on friend’s ravings. for the price it really wasn’t worth it. It’s not for me.
I've worn the RIncon 3 for years. Not impressed with the Rincon 4. The tongue cuts into the top of my foot, repositioning it doesn't help. The sole is hard - not much cushioning, so not as comfortable. The worst thing is that the sole has no grip - when I'm doing floor exercises - planks, etc., the soles slip on rubber, foam, fake turf surfaces, etc. This makes it difficult to do my exercises I loved the Rincon 3, and wish I had purchased a dozen pairs before they changed them These are a different shape, different materials, a real lunge backward. I'm still wearing my old Rincon 3's - even though they're ready to go to pasture.
I had several pairs of Rincon 3; each one was great. They fit true to size, were extremely comfortable for all terrains. The Rincon 4 arrived - same size as all the rest but tighter and shorter in length. Once I got a pair that fit, they have been fine. Durable and the only shoe that I can walk in forever and not have any foot pain.
I am a 74 year old female with aching hips during long walks, hikes and then these shoes came into my life! my pain has been cut in half and walking is not a chore. I love these shoes and will buy another
I commercial and residential clean with no breaks. Hokas are the only brand shoe i can wear on my feet all day or run in that keep me completely comfortable! I used to be a CNA working long graveyard shifts, ive tried them all Hokas are proven winning footwear!
This is my first pair of Hoka shoes and they have not impressed me. When running, they are only comfortable for the first 3-4 miles ONLY if you are wearing running socks. They are also slippery if the pavement is wet. Really disappointing considering how expensive they are.
The shoes are very light, comfortable on foot, BUT as soon as I start to walk my feet do not feel correct overpronation and arches don't give necessary support, not provide stability. After walking 30 min I had pain in knees and back,
This is how I received my brand new shoes- missing a shoe box, with the outer box severely damaged and completely opened. Seriously? For a pair of white shoes?
Seriously I just finished a full marathon with this shoes and my foot didn't give me any blisters like I other expensive carbon shoes
