Although these pants are longer then other Patagonia Pants purchased, still pleased with the type of material, it is very lightweight and great when weather is between 50 degrees and above. Great for international trips as you can switch with the local weather changes.
Very comfortable and durable. I only backpack w one oair of pants so they need to be durable, versatile, comfortable and quick drying. I use a waterproof shell because DWR is toxic against skin (as of this review.) This is my pant of choice until they come up something made from fabric sans PFAS chemicals.
The material, pockets, and look are good. However two issues. First, the inseam is about 1.5 to 2 inches too long compared to both other brands and previous Patagonia versions of these convertible pants. But, the bigger issue is the bottom of the removable legs do not have zippers, thus you have to remove footwear to take them off.
