I love Northface, but the coats that they have for kids the zippers are so cheap. I have three Northface kids coats with all the zippers broke. You have a lifetime policy on the coat, but it takes eight weeks when you send the coat to North face to get it back by then it's a different season
Cheapest zipper ever, do not buy
Ordered one of these jackets, within a month the zipper broke. We were able to return it & get another, within a month that zipper broke. It's made of plastic, others seem to be metal. So cheap!
Great fit for every cold zone
This one is great. Its feathers kept me warm during Colorado's winter and snowy days along with underwear from North Face as well! I highly recommend it!!

Puffer coats don't work....
Purchased this coat for my 14 year old grandson. He loved the fact that it was warm and a North Face. The fit was fine and the boys XXL is $100 cheaper than purchasing a men's small. However, for me this coat did not meet my expectations as a long time buyer of TNF. The feathers pushed through the coat and left tiny holes like the other puffer coats I have purchased for a fraction of the TNF price. Returned it and purchased the McMurdo bomber, now we are both happy.
Warm, comfy, and kid approved
My son absolutely loves his North Face jacket. He actually asks to wear it, which says a lot because getting him excited about clothes is not easy. The quality is amazing. It is warm without being bulky, super soft, and holds up so well to everyday wear, playground time, and all the rough-and-tumble kid stuff. The stitching feels solid, the zipper is smooth, and it still looks brand new even after lots of use. What I love most is how comfortable and durable it is. It keeps him warm on cold days, blocks the wind, and I never worry about it falling apart. North Face really lives up to its reputation. You can tell this is made to last and made with care. This jacket has quickly become a favorite in our house, and I will absolutely keep buying North Face for my son.
