I love Northface, but the coats that they have for kids the zippers are so cheap. I have three Northface kids coats with all the zippers broke. You have a lifetime policy on the coat, but it takes eight weeks when you send the coat to North face to get it back by then it's a different season

Cheapest zipper ever, do not buy

Ordered one of these jackets, within a month the zipper broke. We were able to return it & get another, within a month that zipper broke. It's made of plastic, others seem to be metal. So cheap!

Puffer coats don't work....

Purchased this coat for my 14 year old grandson. He loved the fact that it was warm and a North Face. The fit was fine and the boys XXL is $100 cheaper than purchasing a men's small. However, for me this coat did not meet my expectations as a long time buyer of TNF. The feathers pushed through the coat and left tiny holes like the other puffer coats I have purchased for a fraction of the TNF price. Returned it and purchased the McMurdo bomber, now we are both happy.

We love it

I couldn't be happier with the Boys' & Girls' North Down Fleece-Lined Short Parka! It's the perfect combination of warmth and style for colder months. The fleece lining is incredibly soft and cozy, keeping my child warm even on the chilliest days. My son absolutely loves how it looks on him and keeps mentioning how much he likes the style! The design is sleek and modern, making it a favorite for both of us. The lightweight feel offers excellent insulation without being bulky or restrictive, which is a huge plus. The water-repellent fabric is a lifesaver during unexpected snow or rain, and the durable construction stands up to all the rough-and-tumble activities kids love. Thoughtful details like the adjustable hood and plenty of pockets make this parka super functional as well. Highly recommended for parents looking for a high-quality, dependable winter coat that their kids will actually love wearing!

Disappointing Performance

This was for my 9 year old daughter, who was looking for a nice warm jacket for the winter. The jacket is market led as extremely warm, and to have reinforced warmth is pockets and hood, but my daughter has been freezing whenever there is a little breeze. She says the wind comes straight through the coat . We will need to go and spend another 200 on a new coat.
