Sizing Notes
For boots: Add one half size to your street shoe size. You should be able to slip one finger behind your heel when you are standing up with the boot unlaced and your toes touching the front. If the boot is too short, your toes will get smashed walking downhill. Too long and your heel will slide up and down and give you blisters.

Best For Wet Trails and Muddy Traversing In Rain

Been running and walking dogs in this model La Sportiva for going on 20yrs. They have never let me down. Sturdy, waterproof Gore tex for wet grass and rainy days. Traction and support on mud and wet grass is superb. Roots and rocks, not so much, but adequate. These fit wide enough in Mens 42 that I never need to stretch. Only caveat is less an issue with the shoe than gore-Stex itself - they're a bit heavier and retain odor more than non gore-tex shoes. Plz never stop making this model.
