Curvy fit, flattering business casual pant
As other reviewers have noted, the waist in these runs tighter than a typical pant of its size. I would call this a curvy fit -- which is perfect for me! These are my absolute favorite work pants now. They are so flattering yet comfortable, and they pass for appropriate business casual work pants. I haven't had any issues with durability yet after a few washes. I hope Vuori comes out with other colors and that REI continues to stock these. For reference, I wear a size small in these and a 4 curvy in American Eagle jeans. 5'7" 135 lbs athletic curvy body type.
Cute fit and TTS, but fabric quality is fair
These pants fit true to size and are very comfortable. The cut is cute and could work in a business-casual setting. Unfortunately, the material started pilling after one wear. I purchased the light oatmeal color, and it shows wrinkles easily. For the price, I was expecting better fabric durability. Sadly, I will be returning them. I would consider keeping if I could afford to pay $130 for a pair of fancy lounge pants.
Nice fabric, tight waist, short zipper, returned
I was hoping this would be a good work pant. The waist is super tight, compared to the hips and legs. Nice fabric, good weight. Bummed. Weird zipper.
Great pants, tight waist
I agree with other reviews that these pants run small in the waist. I am 5'10", 130 lbs with a 27-28" waist. They fit me perfect, but in most pants I am typically a size S. I ordered a M and they fit just right. The pants are incredibly soft. The price is a bit steep, but if you are someone like me who looks at cost per wear, I will get my money's worth out of them. Especially if they hold up well.
Quality Control Issue with Waist Size
The pants fit well everywhere but the waist, which was too tight. I tried the next size up and had the opposite problem. The waist fit, but the rest of the pants were too baggy. I gave up and returned both pairs. Very sad because I loved the material.
Love this pant
Loved the weight of the fabric, not too thin and not too thick. Just enough to not show my imperfections. I bought a size larger than I normally wear because I like them to hang nice. Flattered my waist. Buying again.
Waist too tight
I agree with others, the waist is too tight. I'm an apple shape or inverted triangle, so maybe if you're hourglass shaped with a small hip to waist ratio these would work for you. Otherwise the waist is either too tight and nice slouchy legs, or the waist fits the next size up and it looks like you have on clown pants. Disappointing because the fabric is dreamy.
