Unassuming but effective
No one has ever described me as a minimalist, so when I first saw this bag I knew I wanted to try it and see how much I could stuff into it. First off the color: I got the bass colorway which I think is more grey than it seems in the product pictures and definitely looks different under natural light vs indoor fluorescent, and even what it's placed next to. I appreciate that the logo is subtle and I adore the pop of color on the left side. The cross body strap is fully adjustable which means it starts off pretty short and expands enough(it really is 55" long) to get around my plus sized body to be worn as a crossbody should. It's not designed to be worn as a hip pack but the adjustable slider will hold its own weight and could do in a pinch. There is one small internal zippered pocket but that's the only organization: it's a plain and simple bag and that simple rectangular shape allows for a lot more room than you would expect. I got the bag because I ride, both bikes and motorcycles, and often you just wanna grab your gear and go but with women's pockets being what they are, a bag is a must. Unfortunately I couldn't get anyone to take a picture of me in action with it, but I can fit my giant wallet, giant phone, and giant set of keys with room left over for a snack bar or rice crispy treat. I haven't ridden through rain with it to test water resistance or handled it roughly but it seems sturdy enough with thick walls and solid stitching. If you're looking for something simple, straightforward, and deceptively roomy, this is the bag for you.
This sturdy bag is made from ocean plastic?!
I swapped out my regular purse for this crossbody bag for two weeks and took it to Tulum Mexico for my bachelorette trip! I brought this thing everywhere, from cenote tours, hikes, and bars and restaurants and it was great for all occasions.This is a sturdy bag and its a perfect size for everyday and travel. I love that it fits my Kindle (I carry it pretty much everywhere), phone, wallet, glasses, hand sanitizer, and a number of additional small items. The zippered inside pocket is perfect size for my passport and keeps it secure. The double zippers for the main compartment are clever and very dependable (both the metal zipper and the zipper pulls) which are so important to me in a bag. The fact that this bag is made of ocean plastic is kind of crazy considering how "normal" the fabrics look and feel. I would never guess without reading the tags and product description. I got the "softshell" color bag, which is cream white. It is cute but of course it got dirty much more easily than another color might, though I think it will wash out easily. The only real downside to this bag is that the wide strap, though sturdy, did rub and chafe on my neck if I wasn't wearing a shirt that covered my shoulders. Overall, a really SOLID crossbody bag! Sturdy and well made AND made from ocean plastic?! Amazing! This is a fantastic adventure bag or daily life bag.
Stylish functional bag
It’s a great water repellent bag for daily wear. I personally like to use it as an auxiliary bag for snacks and/or drinks. It has an additional zipper pocket inside that is useful. I was happy with the cream offering as it complimented my wardrobe.
Good, stylish, convertible daily bag
The GOT BAG CrossBody is a good option for everyday. The strap is able to be shortened enough so I can use it as a sling bag which I prefer. I like that I can wear it as a sling bag or crossbody. It's got a good amount of room. The soft-shell color goes with everything and it looks sleek. It has an inner pocket to hold your wallet or small items too. GOT BAG is also a certified B Corporation. I like to purchase from B corporations when possible because they generally treat their workers better, are better for the environment and their local community, and are more transparent with their manufacturing practices.
Medium-sized Every Day Bag
This is my new go-to bag! It's neutral and simple. I can fit a (chunkier) wallet, kindle, collapsible water bottle (500 mL for reference) and a cell phone easily; I could also squeeze in a small set of keys, if needed. I think this makes it perfect for long walks or short day trips. That being said, there isn't a ton of organization built in, so I would probably grab a different bag for any extensive travel that would require keeping documents organized or needing additional space for gloves, hats, etc. For reference, there's a small interior zippered pocket, but no exterior pocket. I would consider it medium sized. The straps were a little dirty after a week or so, but I was able to easily wipe it off, a huge positive. And the sustainable materials get an extra nod!
A nice bag!
I really liked the gray/green color of this bag. This cross body bag is large enough to use as a diaper bag in a pinch but small enough that it’s comfortable to wear all day. There is an internal pocket good for keeping a wallet.
Useful little bag
I love the light green color of this bag and it looks nice and sleek and is great for when you need a small bag for the day. It’s fairly small but I could fit a small water bottle in it along with my wallet, keys, sunglasses, and phone. So it works for all of the basics!
Small ecofriendly bag perfect for the everyday
I love this bag! More than I expected to. It's the perfect size for me--it can hold a wallet, phone, keys, and then a granola bar or two. There's a small inner pocket for anything you want to keep extra secure. The strap is very adjustable so you can wear it crossbody or slightly shorter as a shoulder bag. I'm not really a traditional purse person and this bag gives me a way to bring what I need with me and is hardier than a leather, etc, purse. It's also ecofriendly, which doesn't just seem like greenwashing--the material is made out of recycled plastic collected from the ocean. The green bass color is also very cute and hasn't gotten dirty at all in the weeks I've been using it. Have gotten multiple compliments on it. Finally, the material is water repellent. I took a picture using it in a light rain to prove that it is!
New favorite everyday bag!
I love this bag! I had a belt bag but always felt like it didn’t fit across my chest well. The bag is slightly larger, the strap is longer and it fits everything I need (keys, phone, chapstick, snack and even a small book or kindle if I wanted). The quality and color is perfect, too! I have already recommended this bag to several people. Excited to try their other styles!
