Wore this jacket almost everyday while walking the 500 miles of the Camino Frances. It was great! Washes well. Love all pockets, inside and out. The bright color was reassuring for visibility in early mornings.
Nice shell jacket
I love this jacket... for the fit - i went according to my measurements and then i sized up. The fit according to the measurements was a bit snug around the hips and under arms. Sized up, fit is a little loose and comfortable. I got this to use as a shell in the winter when running, so i haven't tested it for that yet. I wore it in Colorado when it was around 60s to 70 with a tank top underneath and i was comfortable.
Love
Smartwool is one of my top favs in any ladies clothing. I’m not tall but can get away with the longer torso and arms in their tops. That being said, these jackets which I bought two colors, fit even better for my frame. The fabric is Uber light and that perfect whisper of a light layer to take off the chill, or help block the wind just enough while being breathable. The colors are all pretty too! I’d have not purchased if it wasn’t on sale, however. No regrets! It comes down over my hips just enough and the same goes for the arm length. Gladly there is some loose fit in the torso, which is perfect for a thin hoodie or other such base layer for exercising. Have worn hiking, walking and out and about. My details are 5’ 6”, 130 # with a fairly muscled medium frame. Love the cuffs, they have room but not too baggy and appreciate the hood as well, but haven’t used yet.
Ideal windbreaker & packs down to almost nothing
I love the breathability of this very lightweight jacket. The places where they’ve placed lightweight wool are ideal. The yellow is fun! Nice not to have nylon or poly under your arms. Smart thinking, smartwool!
