So-So. Thin. Uncomfortable drawcord.
I've yet to fully come to an opinion, but my first impressions are 1) these shorts are very stretchy, 2) the waist band feels a bit loose for their size, and 3) the drawcord to keep them on my hips is super thin- doesn't seem overly comfortable. To be fair, I have yet to wear them for a long day or hiking. Surprised they have a drawcord, buttons, and a zipper to secure them. Seems excessive. They seem quite durable, though I notice in the description only the liner is approx 50% merino wool. The rest of the short is not wool (which is why I buy Smartwool to begin with). May return.
