[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lantern is so unique and convenient!! It's collapsible and really light. I like the different light modes, and it's solar charge ability. It's so handy, it charges my phone too. AND IT FLOATS!
Versatile
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is much smaller than anticipated but extremely bright with 4 different levels of brightness which I showed in the video. It came charged already but when I hooked my phone to it it was comparable to my regular phone charger. Folds up easily and also opens easily. Perfect size for a camping trip!
Great while it lasted!
This product didn’t age that well. I’ve had mine about 5 years now and only bring it out for backpacking or hiking - so not everyday use, but reasonably typical PNW usage pattern. The battery only gives me about 10 mins of light at the lowest setting now. The plastics have yellowed and faded a bit and covered the solar panel which I assume also impacts charging. Really great concept and I’m happy to have had it while I did but this didn’t stand up to the test of time and figured I’d share here for folks that are curious.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product came basically fully charged which was a plus. Easy to inflate. Just open the cap, twist and it’s fully assembled. The USB port is amazing and the fact that this product has multiple settings is great. My regular lantern doesn’t have this many settings! Waterproof, durable…I really enjoy this product. Plus, I just put it in my windowsill so by the time I came home from work, it was ready to roll. Amazing concept and execution.
Brighter than expected

I waited a while for this awesome nifty solar lumin light with phone charger. It’s perfect for my emergency kit it claims to hold a charge over a year . Junk! Had two, neither held a charge.
Pure junk! I purchased one, REI replaced it. Tried it again, still did not hold a charge. Light on,u on for a few minutes, neither unit charged my phone. Was past the year mark, so I junked it on. It’s lightweight, compact, waterproof, and comes with all things needed to make it function. Fast charging and a light that lights up the whole tent at night. No flashlights needed. We do a lot of outdoor things like camping, fishing, & hunting so this will come in handy! What he likes most besides the brightness of this lantern, is the charging capabilities of your cellular device. You never know when you might be in an emergency situation & your phone needs charging! You also get up to 50 hours of life out of one charge and this thing is super bright. Not only is this perfect for outdoors but indoors as well. Whenever we get the slightest storm our power always goes out & this will be perfect to use during those storms. I highly recommend this Muti-Functional device!!
Phone charger poor
I am very, very disappointed in the phone charge feature. The light is very bright. However, adding 25% charge to my phone depleted the total charge by 50%. Attaching the light to my backpack to recharge in sun maybe put back 10% after 10 hours. I cannot use this 8 oz light in lieu of 12 oz battery charging brick for a 5 night backpack.
