[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very happy with the performance of the Echo. It's the warmest non-down filled jacket I've owned. Its a mostly everyday use jacket for me, but I have been out on several light hikes and it is very warm, and extremely comfortable. I am particularly happy with the mobility in the arms and shoulders. With a light sweater underneath, this jacket is still warm with temps in the upper 20F range. I no longer purchase any down- fill products for ethical reasons and the Echo jacket proves that one doesn't need down for warmth!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this jacket. 4.5 stars is my true rating. It was extremely comfortable and lightweight yet kept me warm even in quite cold temps (I wore a thin merino wool turtleneck underneath). Super packable, I could easily mash this up and squeeze into a daypack. I appreciated the zippered pockets. The only feedback I have and it's minor really is that the zipper pulls are super tiny and the zipper itself feels a bit flimsy. And I'd love it if there was a bit more thinsulate insulation. I wish I had purchased more than one!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the color (Cilantro, little darker than appears in the pics) and the midweight feel. Jacket is well made and durable but slightly on the heavier side knocking it out of an ultralight class (which it never claimed to be). 5'11 210lbs (stocky/built) and a L fits great, although feels just slightly short.
I purchased a men’s jacket thinking that it would benefit my height (5’11”), but it was way too big in the chest and shoulders. I exchanged it for a women’s jacket. However, had this jacket fit me better, I would have kept it. It is very lightweight AND warm, without down. The style is great, too.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 6'8" and weigh 205 lbs. It is hard to find quality tall mens clothing. I purchased the Mens Echo Featherless Jacket in XXL. It is a little roomy in the body but the sleeve length is just right. On a side note, I also purchased the mens Minimalist rain coat in 1XT and it fits perfect.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For some reason, Marmot jacket fit me better than most. Small is perfect fit. I'm 5'7" 150. perfect for not super-cold nights or plan to use as underlayer skiing. I would say it runs a bit large, as I sometimes wear a medium but this small is perfect.
Very warm and light relative to weight and bulk. I’m 5’11” 150# and the medium is comically large in the middle for me (but the shoulders are the right size). I wish it had a more athletic fit. I would have returned it if it wasn’t a final sale item.
It seems to be a good quality, but I ordered it online and wasn’t sure how it would fit. So to be safe I ordered a size bigger and it is way too big. My review is don’t be a dope and go into a store and try some coats on and see how they fit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice hybrid insulation. A bit too warm for me for any real activity (e.g. running or backcountry skiing - uphill), but warm enough for the downhill, around town in the winter. Nice and light. The orange color almost glows it's so vivid!
Although some will feel this jacket is a lightweight, it serves me well, by adding layers - more or less. I'm outdoors on the move at least two hours each day. The jacket will serve my needs pretty much every day when temps drop.
