The Frontier Collasible Bowl is the ultimate travel bowl!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Frontier collapsible bowl folds almost completely flat for ultimate portability and traveling. It is ultra light, BPA-free, food grade and heat resistant making it is the only travel bowl you will ever need. It is very durable and the silicone is flexible and easy to clean.

mostly great, can be hard to clean

I’ve used this a few times now. It packs great and is lightweight. The medium size fits well in my backpacking pot (the large does not). The one downside of the collapsible style is that it can be hard to clean the crease where it folds. I find food (especially saucy foods) gets stuck in there. Good for food that isn’t too saucy. I’ll also add that I tend to backpack solo, and so the thing I didn’t account for is that when I can, I just eat out of the pot/pan so I have fewer dishes! I will still use this item for group trips were I need my own bowl or if it’s not a dish I can eat straight from the pot/pan.

Great bowl!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, it’s a great bowl. I love how it collapses and the plastic is thick but not stiff. The cons are it’s wide but not deep. I would rather it be deeper rather than wide for camping. I can understand it might affect the compact shape, but it’s the only thing I’d like to see differently. Aside from that, it’s a great bowl for camping and travel.

Retains food smell

Bought this to use on a trip to BWCA, tried it out at home first. After washing the bowl it retained the smell of the soup I had eaten out of it. I have the washed the bowl several times, but it still smells like food. Unuseable in bear country. Otherwise I would have really liked it.

Big improvement from previous version

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have several items from the first generation of collapsable bowls and plates. This version is a huge improvement in form and function. Snappy deployment. Rounded transition at bottom is a winner. Seems more sturdy when opened. Cleanup is easier also due to reduced silicone usage and more hard plastic. Keep innovating!
