The plastic tensioning cable broke after a year and Lazer declined to warranty helmet. Totally unusable. Garbage helmet.
This helmet is super light. I weighted the M I purchased at only 220g. It feels much less bulky than some other MIPS equipped helmets. However, it has two big downsides. First, it doesn't hold any of my sunglasses. You'll need to be a sunglasses-hanging-from-jersey person. Second, the side straps are not adjustable. These didn't come close to fitting me, they were super loose on the sides of my head, despite the bottom clasp correctly adjusted. These two downsides were definite deal-breakers for me.
A $300 helmet without adjustable straps is not worth it to me. I've had Lazer helmets in the past (Z1 MIPS) and I loved them but this new iteration doesn't hold up. Felt cheap and didn't fit right. My old helmet saved me from som serious injury, I would not trust this helmet to do the same.
