Fantastic Sandals with Awesome Grip
When these beauties arrived I was excited. Don’t worry, after wearing them, I’m still excited! The blue is subtle but adds a lil color to contrast a bit with the black. A limitless class on my feet never hurt! I wear a size 8.5 so got size 8-9. There’s some extra room length and width wise so easily a 9 would work fine too. These might be a tad big for those of you who are an 8 out there. I put the sandals on, adjusted the fit, and trudged outside into the rain and mud. Immediately I noticed my foot felt like it was gripping a bit to the sole. It isn’t sticky, don’t fret. They almost felt like they were curving to my foot. I walked across rocks, through puddles with grass and mud, and these gripped the ground like a pair of hiking shoes. They performed better than any sandal I’ve tried for this weather condition. Overall, a 10/10 for comfort, traction, stability, and look.
Perfect sandals for summer weather by the water.
These Bedrock Sandals are a must have for anyone looking for a quality pair of sandals for hiking, at the lake, or around town. They are true to size and comfortable for all day wear. They are super adjustable to get that perfect fit with a the Velcro strap at the heal for easy on and off while the front has adjustability on both sides. One side has a hook and loop system while the other is a standard strap. The front toe strap is elastic for a comfortable feel between the toes while keeping it snug to your foot when moving around or standing still. The simple blue color fits my style and will go with most of my wardrobe. The sole and traction of the sandals are solid. They have all day comfort on the flat footbed, but tons of traction underneath for anything that might stand in my way on a hike, at the lake, or around town. Overall these will be my new go to sandals around town in the summer and a must have by the water.
Don't hesitate, get these sandals
Extremely comfortable and slip resistant on trail, rocks, gravel, and water. Bought these sandals to upgrade from my old Teva's and use specifically for hiking and river walking. So far they have exceeded my expectations and proven to be worth the investment. Be prepared to spend the first few uses adjusting them to find that perfect fit. This is not a bad thing though, there are just so many slight variations to the fit that you can make. Take the time to find the perfect one for your needs. It took me a minute to get used to the single strap in between my toes, but really purely because I'm not used to wearing sandals of this style. No complaints or blisters between the toes though because of the use of a soft stretchy cord instead of a more abrasive strap. I broke in these bad boys on a 14 mile long hike with lots of elevation and they performed beautifully. As an avid hiker who usually expects some blisters and bunion pain on the sides of my feet, I was pleasantly surprised to find neither present at the end of my first hike with them. Just dirty toes and a big smile. Bedrock, you've got a customer for life now.
Wonderful shoes
Perfect for rafting, low profile sole for jamming feet under raft thwarts. Vibram sole for excellent grip. Excellent drainage, can be worn all day without the risk of immersion injuries or bad odors. And once they're off, the webbing drys very quickly. You will see many a raft guide sporting these while working. Sizing is very versatile, can fit a wide range of foot sizes thanks to three different adjustment points. Perhaps one of the sturdiest options as far as river sandals go.
AMAZING SANDALS
I do not have enough good things to say about these sandals. They are truly the most comfortable sandals I own while also being extremely durable and sturdy. The front strap does not dig in, the foot bed conforms to my foot perfectly, and the make of it allows me to be active while also enjoying sandals, something I've never experienced before. Do yourself a favor and buy these!
Great sandals for on and off the trails!
I am obsessed with these sandals! Bought them for a trip to Hawaii and have used them on multiple trips sent-they're super easy to pack as they're very lightweight and flat. The tread on the bottom of the sandal is great for rocky terrains and slippery surfaces-they do great on hikes and also just casual walks around the city.
Nice minimal sandal
Overall, I really enjoy the feel of these sandals. I usually wear barefoot style shoes, so I loved the zero drop. The soles are definitely thicker than what I usually wear, but I think that will make them more comfortable for wearing on pavement for long stretches. They are still decently flexible soles for being thicker. I really liked the positioning of the straps and the multiple adjustments to customize the fit. I did take off one star though, because the molded portion that connects the straps to the sole on the outside edge does rub on my right foot only. Not sure if that is just a difference in the shape of my foot, or a flaw with that sandal. I tried playing with the straps and fit, but couldn't correct it, ended up physically bending that piece back. It helped, but I have to keep bending it back every so often. Still, like these sandals, will definitely wear them for summer hiking adventures and around town.
Simply the best!
Last fall I went in to REI store looking for these sandals, and there was LITERALLY one pair, in my size and the color I was looking for, ONE pair. I stepped into them and instantly knew I had to have them, and I didn't take them off, walked out of the store in them. I have owned all the major brand sandals, seldom happy, and now I cant take these off! the cushy footbed and Vibram soles, well, everything. I am thrilled, and I am going to buy a second pair soon, just because!

these things are really comfy! they're quicker and easier to put on and take off than all the straps would have you believe. i love that there are three total points of adjustment, so you can get the fit dialed in just how your feet want. it's my favorite part of these sandals, and a huge improvement over the design on, say, Teva sandals, whose big plastic buckle is a constant, painful pressure point on my foot bones. these are nice and secure, and they provide just the right amount of cushion.
