Ankle Support of Thongs
I thought I would be able to work around the design with socks or harder lacing but they'll be going to the op shop brand new. I got S13, with a flat foot and an ankle wider than your foot and a smaller size might be ok. The support on the heel is about one cm then is soft cushion which facilitates chafing, a bit under two thirds being plush. Lacing tightly doesn't help because it bows out at the inside of the ankle as well, two fingers fit inside the shoe on the outside of the rim of the sole from the bow. It's like it's a wide sizing, as my other Merrell's aren't like this but it's narrower in front of the ankle.

why there is no ZERO star? slippery on wet surface. After 5 uses, inner fabric is worn out blistering my skin. I regret being a Merrell client for years after experiencing the mediocar customer service and the deteriorated product quality
MOAB Adventure 3. FAIL
Counter lining lacks finger hook to assist donning shoe. Either Upper or tongue is way too narrow, as it is impossible to obtain full closure of the areas, permitting debris and liquid to enter. Laces are insufficient in length to insure secure lock of my foot in the shoe. Break-in was longer than anticipated, but this is not necessarily indicative of defective product as were my earlier three comments. I have been wearing US size 9 Merrell products for the past 29 years. Frankly it appears your firm has elected to sacrifice quality in production in favor of increased line items.
Boring or happy customer
I am wearing Merrell shoes for work for a long time. They are comfortable, durable and stylish. Today, I replaced the MOAB Adventure 3 with the same model after around one year of nearly daily wear. The old ones, while showing signs of daily use, were still intact. Merrell, please keep making these quality shoes.
Uncomfortable
I bought a couple pairs of these around 2016 and they were the best shoes I’ve ever owned. Just got a new pair recently, and the quality has taken a serious nosedive. There’s a tragic design flaw in the tongue. The stitching on the inside/backside of the tongue is so prominent that it constantly pokes into the tops of my feet. I can loosen the laces to compensate for the puffiness of the tongue + the bunched up stitching, but then the shoes become too loose. Would not purchase another pair, and may never buy another Merrell product again. For this kind of money, I expect much better.

Very comfortable but the toes delaminated quite quickly after a few weeks use.
Comfort, stability, traction and good looks
I've had other Merrill shoes and boots and they are always comfortable and hold up well. I particularly appreciate that they offer wide widths and that many have Vibram soles, which I prefer for rocky trails. I just received these and I'm still wearing them around the house to check them but I can tell the fit is spot on and they feel supportive and stable. And they look pretty good, too.
Great all purpose and tracking shoes
This is my 4th pair of Moab shoes, the second time waterproof. Walk up to 20km a day and recently a lot of walking on irregular terrain. The soles are great for grip…. The only time not effective is the blind assistance spots on the roads. Got absolutely drenched recently and dried out naturally after 2 days. No odour buildup in these shoes. Fussy about my feet and I wear these nearly all the time. Spending some time in Cambodia so giving them a real workout. Ordered another pair to pick up from family later in the year
Great shoe
I have been wearing these for a month and am really please with them. I have very wide feet so chose the wide size plus a 1/2 size larger than usual based on recommendations from previous reviewers. The fit is spot on for me. Very comfortable to wear and nice looking enough for casual days at the office.
Excellent Shoes and Will Buy Another Pair
I bought these shoes over a year ago and couldn't be happier. They fit perfectly and feel great. They've worn well and still look good. I think the difference between my experience is that I purchased them at a store where I could check sizes and fit to make sure they are exactly right for my feet. I didn't deal with FedEx, as I never buy shoes on the internet. I'm asking my family for a gift card for Christmas so I can buy another pair.
