Allbirds fit true to size for most customers. If you have wide feet or prefer a roomier fit to accommodate toe splay, we suggest sizing up. If you are in between sizes we recommend sizing up for all styles except for Tree Runner styles (size down for those).

Prefect shoe for everyday.
These shoes are excellent every day shoes that work with any outfit while providing great support. I usually wear a size 10 for tennis shoes to allow for a little extra wiggle room if I'm on my feet all day. These shoes seemed a little more snug after all day in them, but were not uncomfortable. On the contrary, these shoes have a cloud like feel to them when you put them on. I only wish they were a tiny bit deeper on the heel side. I've worn them all day running errands, I've worn them out to brunch, and best of all they work with any outfit. I have a very active toddler and these quickly have become my go to every day shoes! I would recommend them to anyone that spends a lot of time on their feet but also wants a stylish shoe.
Comfy and simple
These have been great shoes- I was looking for a pair of white casual sneakers. I think these will go great with casual summer clothes. I was worried about them being easy to get dirty, but I've found dry dirt is just brushing off without leaving any mark. The sole has a nice rock that makes them easy to wear. (Very squeaky at first, but that wore off as I wore them around the house). They are pretty stiff but I find Allbirds break in over time. I do have very wide feet so I will probably stretch them to help break them in. Overall, I am very pleased with these.
Clouds!
These are like walking on clouds!! I was a bit apprehensive of the arch support at first but it takes a couple of walks to get your foot molded to the sole. They are light, look cute, and stay on well. My only negative and reason to not give it 5-stars is the narrowness of the shoes and the comfort of the tongue on the top of the foot. The way the tongue sits on the foot can be uncomfortable when sitting for an extended period of time. It’s not a dealbreaker in any means but if your feet are a bit wider, it’s just something to keep in mind.
A great everyday shoe in a retro look!
Allbirds Women's Courier shoe is a great shoe overall. It has become my go-to shoe to run errands around town. It's very comfortable and supportive. I also like the retro look. The colors are neutral and compliment most outfits. The fit was great as well. Given the light color, they did stain and it is noticeable.
Soft like clouds!
I've gone out on a couple of errands and walks with these sneakers and generally really like them -- they're super light, and very comfy (all that foam in the sole!). These are definitely casual sneakers, not performance sneakers, but they'd be fine for light/short hikes when you're not carrying a load. The toe-box is a little narrow -- I have wide feet, the width of the arch was fine but my toes definitely felt crowded (though not pinched!). I'd go up a half size next time (got my true to size casual shoe size 7). Also, as you can see from my photos -- these are definitely not white as advertised (though still lovely!) so definitely have that expectation that the color of the shoe on yur screen won't match the color that winds up at home. Definitely not a deal breaker for me.
Great fit and comfort, not great color
When I opened the box, my initial reaction was that these shoes are ugly. I don’t love the cream color I received, especially with the white trim. I also have larger feet (size 10) so I think they make my feet look giant. For color and style, I would give these shoes a 3. For fit and comfort, I would give them a 5. They were comfortable out of the box. I didn’t need to break them in at all. They are also super comfortable for long walks and true to size. They also seem like they will last a long time.
Comfortable, casual shoes
These shoes are really comfortable while walking around. They look sleek and can be dressed up or down. I have used them casually, especially for travel they are nice. The size I got is my average shoe size, so I would size up or down.
Poor quality and difficult to keep clean
As these are fabrics shoes, I expected that they would need to be washed pretty soon. However, after following the cleaning instructions on the website, my shoes now have dark black marks along the top front of the shoe (that were not previously there), and they are now unwearable. I've tried scrubbing, running them through the washer again, adding spot and stain removers, and nothing works. These shoes were great to wear and comfortable, but definitely avoid getting anything on them!
Would not wear these shoes for free
After just 7 months of normal wear and tear, seams have come apart where the shoes normally crease and tears are showing as a result. They have been well cared for, unlaced every time shoes are put on/off. Furthermore, there is no support whatsoever in the shoe and insufficient cushioning. My entire soles feel so sore and compressed at the end of every day due to lack of cushioning. To make matters worse, Allbirds's response is $20 coupon for yet another shoe. This is my first and last purchase. No shoe from any other brand have lasted a mere 7 months.
Light and comfortable
These Allbirds are super comfortable, provide great support while still feeling like you’re walking on clouds. I did have to loosen the laces quick a bit to keep my toes from tingling (which is a common problem I have with sneakers) but once I fixed that, they were great. My only complaint is the color. The image shows a much more subtle variation in cream/white coloring but in actuality, they are cream and tan.
