Bought it for my 50k to replace another one that kept chaffing me. This was perfect in every way. It carries all my essentials and doesn’t hurt me! Thank you.
I bought this vest for so I could try having my water upfront rather than on my back (like my other 2 vests). It made a huge difference and I much prefer the extra weight in front. I was about to do a near 3 hour trail race with water, chews, my phone and key fob, all in front. The weight didn't bother me at all and by the end, my shoulders were not sore. I had a lot of hopes, buying this vest and it exceeded them. This vest is by far the best fit for women too. I was able to take off layers mid race and it quickly adjusted while fitting snug.
My first vest after my hands were cramping even with a proper handheld bottle. I've taken this out for 8-10 mile runs and shorter and has plenty of storage for everything I needed and zero chafing, even after tons of sweat and running with only a sports bra. Only issue is the soft flasks are pretty annoying to take in and out so need to work on a better system for that but I'm glad with the purchase and didn't need the $160 version one. I bought a size large, I'm usually a medium in tops/bras but have a larger chest (34G) and the large works!
I've been using the Women's Active Skin 4 for the past 2 months while training for a half marathon (3-4 runs a week). I absolutely love this vest. It's so comfortable, no chaffing at all, tons of storage for phone, keys and fuel for long runs. It's very light and cooling even on warm days. The 500 ml flasks are a bonus. I got the Emerglow/Black because that's all there was in stock in my size and I needed something asap. I don't love the color... it's more of a coral/pink shade so I'll be getting the black when back in stock.
I bought this about a month ago for a few races I had coming up. So far I have ran a half marathon road race and a spartan beast (~15 miles unsupported). This vest is uncomplicated, comfortable, and you can carry a ton- I’ll probably wear hit on some longer hikes this summer. I had 2.5 liters of water, my phone, bags of candies, and even picked up trash along the way. I had no problems with dirt in zippers or fearing it would tear when overstuffed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a running vest.
The women’s version contours to the body. It’s true to size based on the measurements on the size chart. I’m a 99cm bust and the L fits perfectly, with room if you want to have another layer underneath other than a sports bra. I have a short torso and the bottom of the vest hits right at my natural waist. The material does not chafe at all and feels snug and secure while running. I like that it’s like second skin and doesn’t move around.
Please explain this to me: why does the women's version of this vest brag about the flattering princess seam used in lingerie, while the unisex (read male) version brags about the freedom of movement, comfort, and easy adjustment. Is the princess seam just as durable as whatever's used in the unisex version? If the princess seam is used in both, why is it only mentioned in the women's version? I assume this is a marketing gimmick created by some bro who thinks this is what we want. It is so insulting to try to find gear that works for a woman's frame to find that once again, all companies think we want is flattering form and pretty stitching to match our lingerie. Ya, it does fit great, I just would have liked to know if it was created equally from a functionality and durability standpoint rather than purely for looks. But thank goodness it has princess stitching.

Originally bought a large, but was too big and bounced around and crept up on my neck. Once I got the right size, the vest stays in place, easily attaches to a pole quiver, and has ample pockets. Would appreciate a mini pocket within the main pocket in the back to stash things like ID and keys. Soft flasks in front are hard to get into the vest when wearing it due to chest.
I purchased this in a size xl, and it fits perfectly over my 36F chest. Doesn't restrict movement, and doesn't bounce around. The water pouches are the perfect size. The pockets are very handy for keeping keys, energy packs, and tissues; really you can keep whatever you need in them. Easily adjustable, and easy to put on and take off. I highly recommend this vest!
I am overall happy with this purchase. I think the fit is great. Good amount of storage. I love the hydration bottles that came with it. And I love the way the vest closes and the fit adjusts. Unfortunately I do feel like the material is a little scratchy. I am still glad I picked this vest but I do think the material could be softer and more breathable.
