Pearl Izumi Transfer Liner
Izumi Men’s Transfer Liners were necessary as my rides got longer. I tried them yesterday for a 36 mile ride on the New River Trail in VA. I was much more comfortable during and after the ride. I am contemplating a week long ride of 5 days and 40 miles per day. I will purchase two additional pair for the ride.

Not Pearl Izumi's best idea.
I usually love Pearl Izumi clothes but not these so much. One other reviewer mentioned they are tight which I didnt believe until I bought a pair. I always buy a large size, but these felt like a medium. Very uncomfortable under a pair of loose-fitting hiking shorts. The other bad part is the tags. I have no idea what they were thinking. Dose one cut them off and deal with the tag ends which might be worse?

Great padding, super comfortable

After 1900 miles I can confidently say these are great for short and long days in the saddle. Super comfortable and great to wear under a pair of shorts. I’m going to be buying several more pairs so I’m not stuck riding in dirty liners on longer bikepacking trips

Not great for me

Not great, I got these for riding a peleton and didn't want to get out the road gear at home. so thought these might be good to just wear with shorts for 30-60 minute rides. They are mehh. They are definitely midrise which i thought would be fine but it is not. I'll keep them as backup to backups. the padding is all good the fit is less great, i am really used to some more lower back coverage, if you rock a lower back tattoo these could be for you

Comfortable, plush..

These were my first pair of liner shorts and I would say that they fit well and once I was used to having padding around my nether regions, they are pretty comfortable. The padding itself feels quality and plush.

Runs small - tight legs

I wear a medium with every bike liner I’ve ever purchased. However, these mediums run small, especially in the thighs. These are way too tight and I’ll be returning them for larges. Otherwise, they seem fine - padding is good and materials seem durable.

Too Small

The fit is way too small even in a size large. Otherwise it could be a good liner!

Comfort on a bike

Good shorts and more comfortable than the basic shorts. Have not worn them for long rides yet but nice padding.
