Sizing Notes
Allbirds fit true to size for most customers. If you have wide feet or prefer a roomier fit to accommodate toe splay, we suggest sizing up. If you are in between sizes we recommend sizing up for all styles except for Tree Runner styles (size down for those).

Light and Ready for Flight
This isn't the first pair of Allbirds that I've owned. The SuperLight Tree Runner has a great fit and I would say is true to size. They hug my feet and are true to the name very light. These are definitely warmer weather shoes. They breathe very well and keep my feet cool in the heat. I wouldn't really recommend them for use in the winter or wet climates. They do wash easily, so you don't have worry too much if they get dirty, but they definitely show it with the light coloring. They feel good for quick runs where good traction is guaranteed. I would recommend them to a friend.
Lightweight, Comfortable, Stylish Casual Shoes
I've been wearing these shoes for a few weeks now as a casual shoe at work and for walks around my neighbor and while out running errands. The shoes are incredibly lightweight, highly breathable, comfortable to wear, and so far I haven't had any discomfort or durability issues, which I was initially concerned about given how lightweight and thin the shoes are but I've been pleasantly surprised with no issues. I've also received several compliments from work colleagues and family members about the style/appearance of the shoes. For reference, I wear a Men's US Size 11, have relatively low arches, a wider forefoot, and narrow heels and the fit is true to size in my case. These shoes are best to wear in warm/hot and dry conditions and despite the name ("Superlight Tree Runner"), they're causal shoes, not technical running shoes or shoes that I would personally wear off-pavement on a hike. However, as lightweight as the shoes are, they do feel solidly built for their intended purpose as a casual lifestyle shoe. The foam soles are sturdy and supportive (somewhat on the firmer side); the tongue is very thin with no padding and is attached by elastic material connected to the bed of the shoe, but I haven't had any issues with the tongue slipping around or creating any blisters or hotspots while on long walks, an issue I usually have with shoes that have thin, unpadded tongues; the insoles are not removable so keep that in mind if you need/prefer custom insoles. Lastly, I appreciate the more environmentally conscious approach in terms of the choice of materials and the lower-impact manufacturing process that Allbirds uses to design and produce these shoes. My only suggestions for areas to improve the shoes are: (1) Add more grip to the outer soles. Each shoe currently has two circular patches with a minimally grippy texture that only covers a small area underfoot, which works fine when the ground is dry, but isn't ideal or confidence inspiring when you get caught in the rain on slippery sidewalks or other surfaces. (2) In terms of the style and appearance, the white soles are easy to scuff and any dirt is obvious, so changing or adding a few darker color options in combination with the gray uppers would likely appeal to more people. (3) This is just a personal preference, but offering the shoes with a 0mm drop (instead of a traditional raised heel relative to the forefoot) and slightly more cushion in the heel would be appreciated and likely increase interest among people looking for a more minimalist casual shoe.
Love the shoe, hate the durability
Second pair of these I’ve purchased and they are my favorite pair of allbirds comfort and style wise. Lightweight, breathable, wide toe box, classic style, and provide plenty of rudder feel through the foot when I’m flight instructing. HUGE con though, the soles compress, pill and wear through way too fast. Uppers from my first pair are like new, lowers are worn completely through to the footbed. The most recent pair is trending the same, with over half the tread gone in 3 months of daily wear (mostly walking back and forth to different planes and inside, MAYBE 2 miles a day, no running, hiking, etc). Please please please fix the durability of the sole allbirds!! I want to keep buying these!
Great all around shoes
Recently received the Allbirds SuperLight Tree Runners as part of product test and I absolutely love them! They are super light and very comfortable. They have added cushioning on the heel for all day comfort and are snug with elastic tongue straps that keep the shoe on like a sock. Used for extended walking and light running (both +4mi) and they feel great. Will be using these as my go to shoe. I never had Allbirds before but they run a tad large. I wear a 42 Euro (Nike tend to fit spot on, Adidas run smidge large like these). They are dressy enough for wearing to the office and provide enough support for Gym/Running. Even though they are “mesh”, my feet did not get cold or feel wind which happens with other “mesh” sneakers. Overall super happy.
Good Daily Shoe
This is my first pair of Allbirds, I have been primarily wearing them to walk the dog daily and run errands, although these look nice enough to wear out for other occasions as well. I really like the environmental aspect of the company, and the minimalist logos. These are indeed super light, and the upper hugs your feet very well, almost sock-like. Sizing is the same as other brands I typically wear. They were comfortable right out of the box, have enough grip, and the sole cleans easily if you step in something. They breathe well, and the upper and sole are pretty supportive. I have mid-high arches and typically use my own insoles, but this shoe supports me pretty well. You would never know that these shoes are made from greener materials, they feel like other comparable shoes, which is good. I was able to slip these off, but not on, if that's important to you. They are quick to tie though, and never came loose for me. I think these are a great daily shoe, as I will continue to run errands and go out in these, but I'm switching back to my running shoes for running and long walks.
Allbirds Running Shoes
Super comfortable, lightweight and stylish shoes! I was worried about the low support of the shoe but with the internal elastic support around my feet its secure. Also the extra material on the heel kept it locked in. I would prefer a bit more support on the ball of my foot but its been fine running and walking on flat surfaces. I would prefer more ankle support if used on uneven pavement or trails.
Light Weight and Comfortable Sneaker
I got these all bird sneakers before a quick trip to Florida. I really love how light weight and comfortable they are for traveling. They breath well and are stylish with shorts. I wore them on a fishing excursion and they provided good traction on the boat. I definitely see these as a summer option for around town or for the gym, I don't think these will work for a daily runner or active shoe.
Super Lightweight shoes
These shoes are very comfortable and lightweight for day to day use, but I tried running in these shoes and they didn't meet my expectations. I own the original Allbird shoes and they're similar in that they are great everyday shoe, but the moment I tried running, they restricted my plantar fascia ending my run pretty quick.
Fine. Not life altering
I've previously owned AllBirds, but not for a while. Been wearing these as shoes for short errands etc. I have very high arches and these don't offer enough (any) support, but with insoles they're fine. My biggest issue is that the top of the tongue is held to the base of the shoe by elastic bands, which keeps the tongue from slipping down, but also makes it impossible (for me at least) to slip my feet into the shoes while keeping them tied. They're comfy enough, but not life-alteringly awesome.
Perfect shoe for travel
Fit as expected. Very light-weight and comfortable. Versatile for light workouts and day excursions. Wore them on the plane for holidays and they held up beautifully without taking up much space. Will buy again
