Evolv sizing uses three categories of fit: Max Performance, Performance, and Comfort.
Max Performance : Choose street shoe size. Ultra-snug fit to deliver the maximum possible performance.
Performance : Choose street shoe size and add .5 to 1.0 size. Snug fit for longer sessions.
Comfort : Choose street shoe size and add 1.0 to 1.5 sizes. Comfortable fit for multi-pitch or entry level.
VOLUME
All Evolv climbing shoes come in Low Volume and Medium Volume models.
Low Volume : Designed for a maximum performance fit and lower volume foot shapes.
Medium Volume : Designed for a performance fit and average volume foot shapes.

Un bon chausson sans aucuns doutes mais méfiance aux pieds fins en hauteur ! Je trouve que la largeur aux métatarses est effectivement fine, jusque là tout va bien. Le talon est très fin et sensible, parfait de se côté là aussi. Par contre le volume en hauteur de la base des orteils au coup de pied est encore beaucoup trop importante pour un "LV". Cela génère des vides, des plis et un cruel manque de sensations en contre-pointe. Achetés en 41 pour du 41,5. Je les ai renvoyé malheureusement...

Pros: excellent sticky, soft rubber; great feature on the upper for the big toe joint; narrow heel, not too down-turned, good low volume in general. Cons: the rubber structure on the upper was too stiff and made the upper of the shoe to be too big in the volume (boxy upper), which made unstable toe hooks.
