Bought this for my bikepacking rig to secure my UL tent to the handlebars. 20” was the perfect size and due to the high level of adjustability these could technically be used to affix something as small as a tube or spare inner tube (with of course a bunch of extra strap hanging off the bike) in a pinch. Really strong and high quality! Love the yellow as it adds some flavor to my otherwise seaweed green bike and blacked out bike bags.
These straps worked great for keeping my skis and poles together. The 20" length is more than enough that I end up tucking the straps into itself. I wonder if I could get away with the 15" ones, but the 20" ones can definitely be useful for other situations. The straps are light and kept well in my backpack for skiing, but I could roll them up to fit inside a pocket.
These are so great. Simple and secure. Something about the stretches and simple hook just works together. This is not my first one, but I still have the first one I bought and it works as well as the day. Brought it home.
A single 20 inch strap easily couples two poles and a set of skis together for ease of carrying. $8, way cheaper than a “clip stick” Use two straps if you want to avoid scissoring the skis.
I like the bright orange color so it doesn’t get lost, I will use it on future trips
Works great for fastening equipment on my bike rack.
